A little taller than I expected it to be. The suggestion with a "travel bag" is that it's portable, is deceiving. Once this desk unfolds from the box it came in I doubt any one is trying to put it back into the drawstring bag to take it anywhere.

This is a good quality pillow/desk but it is much taller than expected and I am unsure if I am going to be able to make it work for my purposes. I may have to try it in a few different spots to see if I can adjust where it sits in relation to my position, but in my usual couch spot, it is way too high up.

Easy to use and very helpful with working on a laptop for an extended amount of time.

- It comes vacuum packed, so you will need to let it reinflate. It says 24 hours as these things always say, but mine was done in a few minutes. Typically, I’ve never had any of these reinflations completely fill back into their original shape; they either don’t fit the cover or are lopsided around some edges, etc. But this one did a reall nice job of completely reobtaining the original size and shape and fit.- There is not significant odor. I am particularly sensitive and tend to have allergic reactions at least in the first 24-48 hours to things like this, but i didn’t have any issue with this one. After 24 hours, it only has a slight smell if you put your nose directly on it and even then it isn’t unpleasant at all( no smell just sitting with it in your lap.- The cover fits really well, it is a soft and smooth in the style of a high quality jersey/athletic material. It is polyester and elastic, so it has some stretch which helps keep a smooth fit. It has a zipper to remove for washing. There is a large pocket on both sides, 9.5”W 8.5”H. It is a nice medium gray color.- It is a very dense foam; firm enough that you could sit or stand on it if it weren’t for the shape. However, this doesn’t tire ent it from having some lateral wall flexibility if you need to spread it around your hips a bit extra. The opening width (to fit around your hips) is 16” but I easily pushed it out to about 27”. The opening height to go over your legs has about 7-8” clearance. And there is plenty of belly depth at 12”. On one hand this gives plenty of arm length support, but on the other hand, for me it placed the front section to far away from me (not enough space to slide closer because the back of couch blocks it).- Alternative use, you could turn it around and use as a back rest.- It comes with a pouch with toggle drawstring and carry strap. HOWEVER, you will never use it for storing this because it barely fit in it when it was vacuum sealed into a bag. So you will never get it back in there (probably not even if you had an industrial strength vacuum sealer). But you can find some other use for the pouch. This pillow has so many different ways to use it. I can use it as a lap table, as a pillow and a lower back pillow. Did i stop there? No, I even use it to build forts for my kiddies and they love it! The size of this pillow is the perfect size for any use you can think of. When i use it as a pillow, I can fit in there with one of my toddlers and because it’s u-shaped the sides gives it that safety feel that your kid won’t move and fall off the bed. What I love the most about this pillow on top of everything else that I already love is that it holds its form and because I also like to sleep with a leg pillow the sides holds my legs up without folding or slumping. This pillow was made with people like me in mind and it’s definitely worth trying out. It’s extremely comfortable and I’m starting to understand why my mom always slept on a block of wood. thank you for making this pillow!
