UPDATE: The mats do fit tight, but if you use other mats, they will fit fine. The only drawback is that you will have to trim other mats because the Flextail's are smaller. Flextail reached out and let me know they are working on improving their pads. I give the product fours start due to the fitment of pads. If the pads worked fine I would give it five starts**** Flextail customer service is TOP notch. They were responsive to my questions, and they made things right. ****I bought this understanding it did not come with mats, so I ordered the Flextail mats from Fextail. The first two did not fit. I had to slowly, gingerly push them in, but this caused my fingers to get full of chemicals used in the mats. I will be reaching out to Flextail for replacement padsThe pads get drop shipped from China (not a problem if you are not in a rush). It took more than a week for mine to arrive.

This little unit works Awesome & is easy to carry.

I specifically bought this product because it was supposed to keep mosquitoes away from me while hiking. I used it the day I received it and walked 2 mi. I followed the instructions and waited at least 10 minutes before I took the walk. I had mosquitoes all around my face, 12 of them on my arms and five on my legs and I was walking extremely slow and stopping. The product didn't seem to work at all. The following day I took it out again and walked 2 mi. Again it didn't work. I even tried to take a picture of a mosquito on it but the mosquito moved too fast. Compared to a thermacell, it was rather pricey as well and it didn't even come with the pads. You have to buy them separately. Don't waste your money on this product.

The unit doesn't come with heating pads. Won't work without them. Might be a good product, but no way of knowing since they don't furnish repellent pads with the product and no way to buy replacements.
