I have a helpful hint for the owner of these new knives: when putting the knobs back together, it is challenging, unless you lay them flat on the table for purposes of alignment and then slide together. They are sharp be careful!

These are great knives, extremely well made and extremely sharp, I love the fact they store together and take up little room to store, and they are very versatile with cutting from vegetable to meat.

They are fine. Not excellent, not poor. Decently sharp out of the box. Gave this as a gift and made sure they weren't junk first. They are a bit sticky when putting them together, but it seems it will loosen up in time.The internal shims are plastic so they shouldn't damage the blade.Personally, I wouldn't use these for cooking or chef work, but as a general shop knife it would be fine.It's a fun gimmick knife.

Great set of knives. Very convenient if you need to take it with you on the trip. Sharp, good quality and everything fits properly. Five starts for now. Let’s see how they would hold off.

The wood and blades are nice but the only problem is the difficulty it takes to pull the blades apart. Requires a bit of force.

Pretty sharp and though it's a novelty item seems very sturdy and well made. Not a toy, you can get cut faster than a white guy on the Globetrotters.

From the moment I open this product I can tell it was going to make kitchen chores much more pleasurable. The product fit beautifully together. Easy to carry but more than anything the blade is good. Solid thick steel blade. It is durable and beautiful and The blade is anchored down the length of the handle.

This set was bought as a gift for my brother - a former chef and intermittent caterer. He was impressed by the quality of the material. By inserting the blades in the handles of the other knives provides a safe transport method too which will be great when you need sharp kitchen knives on the go.
