I absolutely love this portable AC! Putting it together was easy, and once up and running, it cools like a dream. I won't lie that it can be a bit loud while cooling, but it doesn't last long, as it transitions to a much quieter fan mode once it reaches your desired temperature. I use this unit to cool not only my living room but also my dining room and kitchen in my apartment, and it does a great job of maintaining a constant temperature throughout. The remote control is very useful, and it even works seamlessly from across my apartment. One thing that surprised me is its energy efficiency, my apartment is poorly insulated and gets hit by the morning and afternoon sun, which used to turn it into a hotbox during sunny weather. However, with this unit running 24/7, I was relieved to discover that my energy bill only increased by around $10 per month. That's a small price to pay for the comfort it provides. If you're looking for a reliable and low-cost cooling solution, I strongly recommend giving this unit a try.

The AC machine is fairly easy to install and does a great job cooling. It claims it’s pretty quiet, but even on the lowest and night setting it’s pretty loud. I won’t be able to sleep with it, but it’s nice during the day. The remote has a screen so you can see the controls when sitting away from the machine. It is pretty big and heavy but overall works well.

I bought a small inverter generator specifically to run a small A/C unit because I have small dogs, and the heat can be devastating during a power outage. Cooling power and wattage was a concern. Well, my generator puts out 4,800 max watts and this pulls only 25% of that. Tested, more than once. And the cooling is DEFINITELY strong. I had a concern about where to put this and how to quickly do a window installation if a power outage occurred, so I did a couple of test runs. Moving this near a window, placing in the airblocking unit with the hose attached and closing the window to hold it in place, etc. all takes about 1-2 minutes. Seriously. That's it. It takes longer to hook this up to my generator than it does to set it up at the window. No real need for a professional installation if you're just setting it up during temporary outages. This is easily one of the best purchase I've made in a long, long time. I don't expect it to cool the whole house, but for a couple of rooms I'm pretty sure this is more than enough - it's that strong.

Right off the bat the remote control did not have the rear cover? Used unit? The AC unit was hooked up and plugged in per instructions. Unit turns on but the inside fan clicks and did not activate. No cold air would blow out.It would turn off after a couple minutes. The outside of the unit would build up a lot of condensation in the couple of minutes it was on. I wish it would have worked. Wondering if I should re order or opt for another brand or a window unit.

I bought a $500 black and decker 10000 btu portable unit two years ago and it didn’t perform anywhere near this unit at all fraction of the price. Extremely cold with intuitive design and ease of install would recommend my experience with it thus far!

I was amazed by how well the air conditioner worked. From the moment I turned it on, my room quickly became refreshingly cool! It was a lifesaver on those nights when the temperature just wouldn't seem to budge. What I loved most about this product was how effortlessly it operated, making it a breeze to use. And let me tell you, the efficiency of this unit was out of this world.

This AC is fine at best. Not worth the price. The noise level is very loud and tends to wake me up when it auto turns on. The remote only works if it’s pointing directly to the machine. It was easy to set up.

This AC unit will cool you down for sure, the cons of this are how loud it can be, its kind of like a fan but more powerful, another con is that if you are worried that it will explode or catch fire because of the coolant it uses, then I would pick some other AC unit that has safer coolant. I'm not sure if you can get the coolant replaced with a safer one. another con is if you have a smaller window, the plastic plating that connects the exhaust is too large to fit in smaller window. But i think that if you take care of this AC unit than it should be very safe to use.
