After one summer of use
I purchased 1/2" for sub surface drip line. They work well, don't leak and drain the lines when the pressure goes down (watering shuts off). Now I am back to order more for the second half of my system.

Works great, bleeds air, doesn’t leak water
The media could not be loaded. This 1/2 inch valve worked great for my application. It bleeds air as designed and does not leak water (note: I added Teflon tape to seal the threads).
