Great Generator
What an awesome generator for the money. For a 5000 watt, it is small and only weighs 78lbs. Only have used it on propane so far, and it starts right up with no problems. Other brands say to start on gas first and switch to propane once started, not with this one! I plan on never using gas, due to carburetor gunk and problems with storing. This unit will run my 30-foot motorhome (13,500 BTU AC, lights, and microwave) even on economy mode. I have economy mode turned off to hard start the AC unit first, once the compressor kicks on, I switch it to economy mode, and it runs just about all of the motorhome. I put 5 hours on it (break in period), drained the oil, put fresh oil it, and have run it for another 15 hours. I took the propane tank in, and had it topped off, and it had only used 2.5 gallons of propane. Thats pretty dang good for 20 hours of operation. It even has its own battery tender that comes with it to keep the battery tended and healthy. I really do think this is the best generator you can buy for the money.

Runs great and the run time on a full tank of propane is accurate. Nice unit
Excellent product. Came with everything you need to open and service the generator. It started on the first try using propane. I ran it under a heavy load for several hours as directed and idle for a total of 5 hours, it didn't miss a beat. I drained the oil after the initial run directions with no noticeable issues in the oil. I had a new tank attached and it used about half in 5 hours right in line with the description. It is a heavier unit however I can lift it into my truck without any issues. Highly recommended unit

Worth every penny
We bought this generator for our RV after our truck broke down and we were stranded in 100 degree weather with no power source in July. We didn’t get to use it until an ice storm knocked the power out nearly 24 hour ago. We have extension cords run through the doggie door to power our home’s fridge, freezers, a lamp, starlink, and tv. We have been able to rotate to thaw our farm animal’s waterers that have frozen in the frigid temps without electricity. It’s been easy to use and isn’t super loud. It’s worth every penny to be comfortable and entertained in our home. We’ve used about 10 gallons of gas in 24 hours.

Bad customer service
PG5000BiSRCO is a fine generator. Just hope you get all your parts! Mine came without LPN hose. The very reason I bought it was to run on Propane. Still waiting over a month to get it. Pulsar customer service tells you what you want to hear, but does not follow through. Amazon customer service was very quick to give me a nice credit toward the purchase! Forced to put gasoline in it, as it was weeks sitting there. at that point didnt know if it even works. Started fine on gasoline. Runs much quieter than my old Generator. Suits my purposes.

Horrible Experience BEWARE!!!
Purchased in May 2024 battery already dead, won’t trickle charge and it’s a pain in the ass to pull start! Will not stay running on propane. Running on gas it shuts off intermittently with zero load!Update… Now it will not pull start. Waste of $800+

Propane Hose Leaks
Generator cranked right up. Propane hose leaks like no gasket at the end connecting to Propane bottle. Customer service is a nightmare to reach and no one ever calls back. Finally reached them after 2 weeks of calling. They said hose on backorder and will send it when it gets in. When. They have no idea. Hurricane and hunting season will be over by then. IF you need customer service, good luck, otherwise seems like a great unit. Will update and and may change rating if hose ever come is in a short time from of a couple weeks. May need some redneck engineering to use propane until hose shows up.

Easy setup
Well we bought this for our fifth wheel trailer, I’ll never run it on gasoline propane is for ever no need to haul.and store gasoline do not choke when your using propane or you will kill your battery or pull your arm off , ran my 15k ac unit with no issues And the fridge I’m going to get another one so I can run hot water tank . It was a great price and great features well worth investing in one
