Compact Powders Essence Brighten Up! Mattifying finish 9 g Nº 20

I have worn this powder everyday for the past three years and it’s one of the most important products in my makeup routine, I can’t go without! I use it as my light color in contouring (under my eyes, forehead, chin, under my bronzer), and I feel “snatched” as they say 😂 Additionally, I’m a rather sweaty person and I have to wear facemasks during surgeries as work and it still stays on, so I definitely recommend! 10/10 product.

Used up my first compact which was a gift from a makeup artist friend. Thought “ oh well, its gone”. Tried several other brands but came back to Essence because it is hands down the best. I am 63 and have fair skin with dark undereye circles; it only takes a very small amount to set my concealer and i am ready for the day with no settling in the creases.

It’s ok. Not luminous like I thought it would be, nor did it have a pink undertone which for some reason I thought it would have. That being said I like it for a setting powder for my under eye concealer. It’s a little light but I think it helps balance out the dark circles under my eyes.

I’m trying this out in triple digit heat. It was 114 degrees the day I first used this and it did not let me down, honey.

They broke in the mail 😢

It arrived in powder, it was not packed carefully. It supposed to be compact, but when I received it there was powder coming out the container. The product works, just issues with the poor packaging.

Works good for the cheap price. Not nearly as mattifying as the higher priced stuff but works as a nice top coat.
