CMON Rising Sun: Kami Unbound

This game is excellent, the quality of the parts, the art work and the miniatures. The game takes a little longer to play than stated, but time flies when you are having fun. Diverse strategies and different factions providing different advantages and different paths to winning, making great replayability, each game plays out differently, so it keeps it fresh. The Japanese theme is great.Lots of different mechanisms -Area Control / Area Influence, Area Movement, Card Drafting, Set Collection, Simultaneous Action Selection, Take That, Variable Phase Order, Variable Player Powers. The kami expansion adds extra elements to the game which add even more variants. I strongly recommend this game for adults, it's a little to complicated for kids and the seppuku suicide action to gain victory points or improve honor is a bit dark for kids. Every one I've played this has enjoyed it a lot. I'm a big fan of Shogun, but would say this is much better. The diplomacy esque ability to make alliances that profit you in the game, or break alliances for advancing your individual game is yet another aspect which keeps this game fun. I give it 5 stars!

When it arrived I made sure there were no damages to the pieces since some can be delicate. It was Perfect! Not a problem. A great addition to the game, in my opinion, a MUST HAVE

The game is a lot of fun and this expansion probably adds the most variety as it radically changes a major part of the game. The minis themselves aren’t my favorite, but it’s still a pretty good value for a great game.
