Works to eliminate odors. DILUTE and SHAKE to avoid clumping, granuals, and cloudy residue
I wrote the review below awhile ago but I feel I need to add this but right off the top after reading other reviews about a milky residue or granules:Yes, I noticed that, but not until I got near the bottom of the bottle. It also left a chalky residue in the liquid compartment of the washer and when I removed it to clean it, I found large chunks of product. I had already ordered 2 more bottles, it's not cheap, and it does work!! So, I opened a new bottle, poured some into a cup and diluted it with water. No problem. So I have added water to the bottle and shook it up real well. I shake well before every use and after adding it to my soap, I add a little bit more water because it still seems thick.Bottom line: by diluting it, it is going to last a lot longer! But I still have great results with odor removal/neutralizing. I have 2 big Lab dogs. They use full-size bulky blankets to lie on. I change blankets twice weekly so I wash a lot of bulky dog blankets. I have no dog odor in my house. My original review:Well, I must say, it seems to work very well!! The item itself does NOT smell good, at all, but it has removed very stubborn odors on my husbands shirts and socks. Everyone talks about how front load washers don't get clothes as clean, and I have to say I agree. I have to do TWO wash cycles AND rinse cycles to be sure no odors remain.Since adding this liquid to the wash cycle(s), there is no odor! Prior to this, we had a HUGE stack of T-shirts (that were not that old) to throw out but my husband wanted to try "one more time", so I used this stuff and I could not believe it. IT WORKED!FYI: A few years ago I eliminated fabric softener and replaced it with white vinegar and essential oil. That alone made a HUGE difference, but it didn't fix entirely the odor SOME of the shirts were retaining, .....until this product! Before this, I had tried baking soda, lemon juice, just white vinegar, and any soap on the market that claims "odor removal/neutralizer", with no success. I would line-dry in the sun and wind. No success until I used this. So, I will say, I do think it is the combination of THIS product being added to my laundry soap, AND using white vinegar instead of fabric softener.(Fabric softener is not good for clothes, machines, or septic systems. You know that gooey mess it leaves behind in the dispenser cup? Well, it does the same thing to your clothes, thus, trapping odors, as well as your septic system. I got this lecture from a man who dug us a new septic system years ago. White vinegar will dissolve this in your dispenser and clothing, and it can't hurt your septic system. Maybe it actually helps it by working on that gooey stuff there as well.)

Nice odor remover
It works well it took me a while to get used to the smell. It masks odor nothing will permanently remove certain chemical smells like essential oils or laundry detergent but it does help make it more tolerable. I'd start out with less if you are sensitive to smell. It's expensive but can last your a while if you don't plan on using it with every wash. It will be a product that I will continue to use. It has helped me since an essential oil got in my bedroom.

This is a magical liquid and I'm going to start a religion worshiping it (and you can't stop me)
To set the scene: my wife and I both have ADHD and between us we have five cats and two dogs. I have super sensitive skin and am sensitive to mildew, mold, AND fragrances (headaches! Rashes! The works!). We REGULARLY forget laundry in the wash and then have to spend days triple-washing laundry loads with gallons of vinegar to remove the mildewy nightmare smell left behind. We also have a couple elderly animals who occasionally miss the litter box or (for the little old man dog) piddle inside on a blanket or pillow, which then takes so much overfragranced Nature's Miracle or other enzyme cleaner to remove. I've tried so many laundry additives and odor removers in my attempts to keep our clothes and house fresh n fancy, and I had previously been able to find *some* solutions but the ones that worked were all tedious, multi-step nightmares that really don't work well for an ADHD noodlebrain like myself.Enter stage left: ODORKLENZ LAUNDRY ADDITIVE. This stuff is my new God. For REAL. This kills the smells left behind by mold and mildew, Nature's Miracle fragrance, perfumed laundry cleaners, and is likely part of what's killing off pet-food/remaining-pet-urine/human-body-odor smells in our laundry loads we are running. I even accidentally left a load of laundry I'd used this in out overnight and while there was a very faint scent of mildew (usually would be overpowering), a 15-min quick wash with this and a tablespoon of detergent entirely eliminated the lurking stankthreat.I am so relieved to have found a product that actually kills off laundry odors including fragrances. I feel like this does have a very light scent of its own but it's REALLY not bad and it doesn't give me a headache like Nature's Miracle, Tide, or Persil do. Thank you OdorKlenz. Please accept my subscribe-and-save tithe and launder me in your blessings for eternity. Amen.

Not worth the money
I buy a lot of clothes at thrift stores and I'm sensitive to that "thrift" smell, so I got this in the hopes that it would remove the smell. It work reasonably well as a soak in a bucket, but it won't work in my front loading LG washing machine. It says to add it to the soap dispenser, but when the load is done, the product is still in the dispenser! It's thick and gritty. It's also smelly in a chemical way so I have to be careful using it as a soak in a bucket with my cats and dogs. It was a waste of money for me. Instead, I soak thrift finds in OxyClean (dissolve about 2-3 TBL in 1/2 cup of hot water). When dissolved, add more water to cover your garment overnight and then wash on a warm, heavy duty setting in the washer - the "thrift" smell is usually gone after that.

Works well and leaves no scent of its own
Works to remove fragrance and that awful smell from cleaning/disinfecting products so many companies seem to be using these days. For strong odors it may take several washings, but it will remove them.Leaves no scent of its own.Highly recommended for anyone sensitive to fragrance and odors.

Absolutely did NOT work and NOXIOUS
First off, this didn't even touch the detergent smell on a few thrift store items, after following the instructions AND a presoak. Second... fumes are NOXIOUS and caused horrible eye burning and stinging (just from the vapor/ steam from the water being hot)... along with sinus trouble. This stuff is absolutely unsafe for super sensitive people, pets, and kids. I listened to the positive reviews... but please do yourself a favor and don't. You're better off with vinegar and a lot of time.
