This mini sledge hammer is perfect for a weaker woman to use. It can really hammer down spokes in the yard yet it doesn't weigh 100 pounds. Love it.

I received the first one (photo with wood background) with the handle not attached into the head. Because it is epoxied in, it would be of great difficulty to fix. So, I returned it and asked for a replacement.The second one I received (photo with manila folder background) was exactly the same!Will be returning for a refund this time.

It should still work well for hammering my tent stakes into the ground. Last year, I brought a rubber mallet camping with me, and my friends had destroyed it within minutes while setting up their tents. This steel headed sledge should work better, and hold up well.I put this hammer with my camping equipment, and we will see exactly how well it holds up and does its job this spring/summer when I head out camping. It is well made, so I expect it to perform well. I will update my review if needed when I actually use it what I got it for.

I keep it close. I use it for work all the time. I had to show it to a guy that was coming at me in the parking lot at work with bad intentions. Did not say a word. He turned around and walked away. I got one for my wife.

This is a handy little hammer, once you fix it.I returned the first one I received because the head fell off after a few minutes of light use. I got a replacement, and it failed even faster.The issue is that the handle is barely epoxied into the head, and the head is installed upside down so that it tapers the wrong way. I flipped the head, shaved the handle to fit, beat a wedge into it, and then filled it back with epoxy.Now I have a supremely handy little hammer to use for center punching and tapping wedges that looks really cool and isn’t a burden to add to my tool bag. It’s just a shame that they don’t come that way in the first place.

Used this for a prop for my bookshelf. Worked out great!

As a marine diesel mechanic, we have to carry a lot of stuff in heavy tool bags. You almost always need a hammer but don’t want to carry around a big one all the time but need more power than a small ball peen hammer. It’s perfect to keep in your tool bag.
