This does not work out of the box. You have to go to their website & put your details in. They email you back. Activated within 2hrs. Works great. I got O2. good download speed. Very happy. Thanks. You do need internet access to activate.

If I could leave one star I would. Ordered this in May and another one in June as I live in an area doesn’t have full fibre broadband. I also bought two routers (total cost separately-total cost £900) Chose the o2 one as it had the best 5G signal in my area. Before the end of June both stopped working and showed no Internet available. I contacted the provider ScanCom (should be called Scan CON!!!) to rectify the issue. I was told very bluntly that it isn’t actually unlimited data but this subject to a fair usage of 600GB each month. Asked if there was anyway to top it up and they said no. They said it would top up at the beginning of the month. Fast forward to 7th August and it’s now run out again!!! FFS🤬😡🤬 In their defence it does say 600GB, buried away at the very last line of the description but then why not call it a 600GB sim?? I’ll tell you why dear reader, because they wouldn’t be able to con people into buying what any reasonable person would believe to be an UNLIMITED DATA SIM card. I don’t use what I would call an excessive amount of internet either. Watch a few hours of Netflix or Apple TV each day, do a few hours work and my some goes on his PlayStation a few hours maybe 3 or 4 times a week. poor product, shocking value for money and disgusting customer service, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!😡😡😡😡

Good product, we only need to fit in mobile router where there's only O2 cover, it's relatively fast and does good job. In our case, good value for money.Just remember, you need to allow time to be activated once registered on site and keep note of when it is due to expire. DONT rely on contact to renew/extend cover as they say on activation site, they don't contact.

Activated the sim on Monday and still did not work on Thursday ,emailed there support and no emails very poor service all round.

This WiFi keeps cutting out :'( wishing I chose another sever.

I bought a SIM card for internet access, but it had no signal and didn’t work. I activated it online multiple times, but after 48 hours, it’s still not connected. The company hasn’t responded to me

I have used scancom’s sim card (but another internet supplier of sim card), their service has been reliable, customer service is great.However, for this O2 sim, you need to have internet in order to be able to go onto their site to activate the sim. I don't need to activate like this for my last scancom sim card. Unfortunately the staff are out of office on Sunday, I guess I am stuck with no internet until Monday then.Update: the sim has been activited on monday morning.
