Garmin Instinct, Rugged GPS Smartwatch, Esports Edition for Esports Athletes, Black (Renewed)

I needed a new Garmin and brought this just to get me over till I got a better one. Well I've not needed that. It records my climbs and my steps. Looks stylish. Battery life is alot better then my older one. Each charge takes about three days to drop, when recording exercises and even longer when I don't. Great value for money.

The battery life is absolutely terrible. Tracking and mapping are spot on.This was a renewed version , still paid £184 for this and the battery life on this is absolutely crap, charged it three times so far and the watch is less than a month old. The solar light doesn’t seem to work, we have had some sunny days and it would tell me I have 7days left and within hours it’s low battery and then it’s dead! I will definitely be returning this one. Wouldn’t recommend buying a renewed version at any cost!

Had the Garmin instinct solar for a couple months now. Got a refurbished one off Amazon Renewed. It arrived and it looked brand new. No marks or signs of wear at all. Been using it to train for a half marathon and love it. Great app and battery life is unreal. Charged it twice/thrice since I got it. My only criticism is that the alerts continue to go off even when the watch isn't on my wrist. This can be rectified by turning dnd on or BT off. But my old smartwatch knew to not alert my drawer of incoming text messages all by itself.

Researched depth before deciding on the Garmin Instinct Solar.Very impressed with the watch until waking up on day three of ownership and saw that the battery was completely discharged. I have now purchased a new Garmin Instinct which so far promises to have the advertised battery life.

Solar charging really works, and can add days of charge in good light. Even without solar charging, the watch can last almost a month between charges with moderate use. I use it as my everyday watch, as it is so comfortable to wear. I really like the body battery function - it gives such a useful insight!

I love the watch and have been very happy with the functions and overall user experience.However, in the last two weeks the battery has steadily deteriorated to the point where it will go from fully charged to dead in one day.Full charge is supposed to last 24days unless I start using certain functions but even using it to track gym sessions and runs did not dent the battery life too much when I first had the watch.I will now be seeking a conversation with the seller because I bought the watch at roughly 1/3 discount but the battery has deteriorated to 1/24th of its supposed performance which I think is unfair.
