STANLEY STHT37163-812 Measuring Tape with Lock, 3m X 16mm (Yellow)

I've been using this measuring tape with the lock mechanism for the past 12 months, and it has been reliable for measuring various requirements in my new house, such as mirrors, Kitchen chimney and window curtains etc.. No special packaging. It came in its original Stanley paper box packaging—no special packaging. Sometimes it folds or bends easily, but considering I bought it for just ₹89.00, it's good value for the price. I recommend the 5-meter white color version, as I've seen many carpenters using that one. 5-meter product is a bit wider and stronger comparing with 3-meter (yellow) tape.

Easy to use with good quality.

Just a normal tape measure. Nothing special. It has units both in cm and inch and it has a locking mechanism for measuring. Built quality is good. I brought 3m as It's good enough for basic home need and diy works, if you are professional you can go for higher lengths.

I bought it for DIY projects and within 3 months the tape has hit the ground for first time. The hook end now has a tilt as seen in picture. Now it can't be used for measuring anything by a single person, it won't hook on any edge! So if you bought it, be extra careful!Also, I bought it for 89 INR. After some usages, I found it very short and I should have bought a 5m tape which costs around 150 only. There is also a tough case model and rubber case model, both cost around 300.
