Tegaderm Dressing 6cm x 7cm Box/100

I started out buying boxes of Tegaderm patches from my local pharmacy, buy DAMN they were too expensive. Far too expensive to use on a regular basis. So I went looking for an alternative and found them here on Amazon and I am SO GLAD that I did! They were $25 for 10 locally as opposed to $20 for 50 when I first started buying them on Amazon.Well, they have certainly gone up in price here on Amazon, but still a Much Better Deal than I can find them for locally. And in spite of what some whiners say on here I've found them to be exactly the same as what I was paying 5X more for.I use a new 1 every third day on top of my pain patch and they make a HUGE DIFFERENCE! Without the Tegaderm patches my pain patch comes off way too soon, and leaves goo all around the perimeter where it was stuck.But... With the Tegaderm patches... No coming off early, and no circle of goo.Now here's the thing, I sweat like mad, and that means it's almost impossible to have the pain patch stay on for 3 days without using the Tegaderm patches. And these days it is completely impossible to get an early refill. Just not going to happen. So if 1 should come off early, well guess what... I would be screwed. And I don't like to be screwed by my pain patches.So Anyway, IMHO these Tegaderm patches are exactly the same as you would pay a whole lot more for at a local store, and you can order them while sitting at home in your underwear, on your couch, and a lot cheaper.So if you like a good deal, Amazon.com is the place to buy them.

I use these to cover patches I have to keep on for three days at a time and they work excellent. Always keeps them dry when I shower etc.

Can't say enough about Tegaderm Dressing. A lifesaver for folks allergic to surgical tape. Also attaches medical patches securely. Larger sized Tegaderm patches secure gauze in place over larger scrapes, even post-surgical dressings. Painless attachment/removal. Waterproof too, patients can showers post surgery & surgical dressing stays dry & undisturbed. Super useful for skin scrapes, especially for little kids since affixing a Tegaderm dressing over gauze doesn't hurt going in & during removal. There is nothing I dislike about the framed dressing

My elderly mother has very thin skin and had gashed her leg. She went to the ER twice for this injury. The initial visit was when she first gashed her shin. I took her back a couple of weeks later when she tore her skin removing a standard adhesive bandages as part of the wound care for her original injury. The glue on the off the shelf adhesive bandages were so strong that when she tugged, my poor mother tore her skin. It was a triangular tear about 2" on each side and it was heartbreaking to view it. Sadly, her skin is so thin that it could not be stitched and I worried greatly about her having more problems. Luckily, the nurse suggested this exact brand of bandage and we have had wonderful results. My mother now carries these in her person and I cannot recommend them highly enough for someone with thin skin. They go on easily and will remove with a little rubbing. My mother does not report that the come off easily and they have helped her heal.

When this product was needed (proper cover for pain med patch use) it worked well. The transparent window allowed the med patch to work properly (the patch was not staying applied well on my skin)since any other way of covering the patch was not recommended .ie any other type of tape or covering.My wife is a ER nurse and she recommended using this product,and as usual, Amazon.com came thru with me finding this product and having many sellers to choose from.(also many sizes/configurations of this product)Highly recommend.

I've tried brands other than Tegaderm. I'm convinced Tegaderm is the best product in its class. The patches are easy to handle and position and the end result is waterproof.

Use as a covering for an external connector for a diaphgram pacer. Only covering that is adequate for the job. Good quality very durable and waterproof.

These are the perfect protective cover for the medical patch my wife needs weekly. They stay on in the shower and keep the patch dry. There are many other uses for these like covering an IV site and I will speak only from our own experiences. They are easy to put on with a little practice, and they are easily removed again without damaging your skin.
