Not what id hoped for! I unrolled the strip - it comes rolled up and as such has multiple kinks and bends in it - and found the flatest section, laid it out and put heavy floor tiles on it for a couple of days to try and straighten it. After that, I cut the length I needed and used strong adhesive to place the top/floor part to the wooden floor and used the self-adhesive strip to attach to the carpet. It immediately started to pull away from both surfaces. I added more adhesive and placed the tiles back on top of it for roughly 5 hours and it seemed to work at first but the product eventually curled up again and no matter what I try, it won't stay flat.

So easy work with

Easy to cut and stick down, needed this where wood laminate joins carpet and the carpet is higher. Easy to use but is chunkier and a few mm higher when stuck down than you would think

Having recently replaced my flooring at home I was looking for trim that would match the grey colour.Sadly, I found that the selection was rather lacking and the trim would cost £20-£30 per barrier!That's where this laminate floor transition strip comes in. It costs a fraction of a single regular metal strip, yet can cover multiple doors worth of barriers. This is a great cheap alternative with the only downside of not working on carpet.If you're looking for an easy to apply and cheap alternative to regular trim I think this is a great solution.

Comes in a roll which I wasn’t expecting. This caused it to curl up and not stick down very well.

For something that is meant to be straight as a die this item came rolled up into a ball totally impossible to straighten it out again I thought there was having a joke with me when I see all rolled up totally used this wouldn't stick down in the bin
