Why did you pick this product vs others?:ordered on the 5th arrived on the 6th Jul. easy 5 min install, so far it has been making ice no issues. full bin of ice within 24 hrs. Ease of replacement:4 bolts and one plug wire harness.

Exact replacement on whirlpool
Old ice maker stopped making ice. This quick replacement started making ice after about 6 hours. After that it filled up pretty quickly. Saved money paying a repair man on this 15 minute job.
