Very well built
Bought this for a family member who strips a lot of old wires that would be pennies on the dollar without being stripped and this is the only piece that seems to show the wear and tear of miles of wire.

Solid replacement
Just got an el cheapo manual wire stripping machine with a similar cutting wheel. It’s not even close to dull yet, but I got this one to use in a custom built, fully motorized stripper. The current one can be driven with a drill, but it’s really a pita to use with only two hands. This wheel fits that, but since I’ve got a couple electric motors laying around, as well as plenty of sheet metal, it’s going to be easy enough to build a stripper that works better with the mostly appliance gauge wire I typically come across in my casual scrapping efforts. This rolls smoothly- can’t tell for sure but the shaft may have a sintered, oil impregnated core that would kind of auto-lubricate the cutting wheel. Did a little internet looking to see if this is possible, but nothing conclusive came up.Not sure about the overall value, but it’s a solid replacement. If it craps out early and loses its edge after a couple feet of stripping I’ll check back in and provide an update
