For those that the heating system is not up to par for whatever reason, I recommend these strongly. Number one, it uses a quartz crystal across the top or the smaller one on the bottom. Quartz crystal uses less electricity. It has two settings. The first setting is when the room is slightly cool and you just want to just slightly warm it up a little bit to take that chill out. If the room is cold you can put it on high and it will heat up the room and it has a thermostat. The large one is really great for the living room and the small one is great for the bedroom. The small one is really nice because it has a thermostat that's very easy to use as opposed to the larger one. Not to say that the larger one doesn't have it it does but the larger one has control remote to control what setting you want. The smaller one has a door that you open on the bottom that has the settings and then it has the to light it up without heat, or it has the first setting which is a mile heat. The second one is a stronger wind which will heat up the room incredibly. And then of course you can set the thermostat so that if it gets too warm it'll turn off. While keeping independently the fire place and the log going which is separate from the heating system. Whoever designed this I must say was a genius. I have used space heaters before but because I have a fireplace mantle this one fits perfectly. And it's beautiful. It does not use that much electricity because of its quartz heating system. So I recommended and I guarantee you will enjoy it

This is a solid product, looks good, and customer service is outstanding. The unit is small but strong and warms our master bedroom well. It looks quite good too and due to it being in the smaller size it looks quite good in the room without being overwhelming. Unfortunately the on/off button stopped working just a couple of days after the Amazon return window. I contacted the unit’s customer support, received a reply within hours, and within 3 days I had a new unit delivered. It works great. Strongly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. I'm so happy I purchased it. This heater is a terrific addition to my home. The adjustments offer a good range of heat, the fan is not at all noisy, and the fire effect is pretty darned good. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that needs a reliable heater. It has the added plus of being quite handsome in a room. I also use the fire effect without the heat on cause it makes a nice night light when the other lights are out. The only disappointment was that although I thought the body/case of the heater would be metal, the case & legs are plastic; they are, however, a decent thickness and the legs are a good size to support the weight of the heater. My family & I all give it a 5 star rating.

Like the size and appearance. Puts out good heat on low setting. Seems to regulate heat well.Cons: must have heat on to have the fireplace effect. No remote so you have to make adjustments at the unit. High heat setting doesn’t seem to increase heat output.All in all a good unit for the money. Time will tell it’s longevity.

I have a 30 by 17 foot attic bedroom/living area. We have many electronics and three space heaters. We needed something that could sit next to a couch by the tv to keep that small area warm on cold days. This is perfect for that space. On the 1000W setting, it adds just enough heat to make that area comfortable, and we don't have to worry about tripping the breaker by running multiple electronics or heaters at once.The flames don't look as impressive as the popular and more expensive Duraflame heater, but they still look nice and give a comforting feeling. We appreciate the low volume-we don't have to turn the tv up to a loud volume to be able to hear.

Bought this thinking it will last longer than typical heaters especially for the price and used it a hand full of times and all of a sudden one of the heat buttons stopped working then the next time the heater part stopped working all together. Since we knew we would not get anywhere since it's after the warranty period my husband opened it up and saw the wires were completely fried and melted. I do not recommend

Wonderful heater for the bedroom. Puts outdoor heat. Needed to even turn it down a bit. Love the flames. It's a keeper.

Loved this for the winter. Has a remote so you don't have to get out of bed to change the temperature. The thermostat ensures you can maintain a constant temperature. Works much better than I thought it would.
