My Kindle popped securely and easily into this case, which covers the screen nicely and protects my device. I purchased this Kindle specifically to carry with me pretty much everywhere I go, and so far this case has done exactly what I have asked of it. It is low profile and does not get in the way when I am using my device. The magnet holds securely and releases easily when I am ready to use it. I will most likely reorder this case when I have finally worn out the current one, which is not likely to be necessary for quite a while yet.

I am usually a kindle purist. No covers, basic lightest model. I like my coffee black and my books plentiful. I have read on a kindle for so many years without cases. (Way back to the kindle keyboard!) After moving to a home without carpet and only hard wood and tile floors, my beloved kindle kept getting knocked to the floor by a rambunctious 7 year old and my new kindle was taking a beating. In hopes to protect the longevity of my recent kindle upgrade gift to myself, I opted for this cover. It was cost effective, a pleasant color and seemed to snap on the edges of the device instead of covering it making it bulkier (in my opinion). I was hesitant to be honest....I don't like cases on my kindle, it would be heavier (I thought), it would be bulky, I wouldn't like it. I kept the packaging just in case I wanted to return it.After using this cover for a while now, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like it. When you flip the cover back to read, it gives a nice thin "thing" to hold on to when holding the kindle. It has a nice feel, soft surface and is very comfortable in your hand. It doesn't feel much heavier. The magnet does well to keep the cover closed and it does wake/sleep using the cover. It also provides a good edge to the bottom of the kindle. This version (11) had a power button that sticks out more than the previous version (10), so when I would place it in my foldable stand without this case, it would turn on/off with its weight pushing the button. This case prevents that since the edge of the case is the same height as the button on the bottom. Win! Win!It seems to have enough protection when it falls now, at least you hear a dull thud instead of a plastic on wood floor crash. Hopefully it will stand up to daily use of reading with my coffee black several times a day.

I bought a Kindle cover from a different company and was very disappointed. Warped cover, ragged edges, a couple gouges in the spine. I returned it. Based on my previous experience I didn't know what to expect from this one which actually cost less. I was really surprised and very happy when I got it. The cover is flat and flawless and heavy enough to close firmly. My Kindle slid easily into the clamshell back and fits snugly. The magnetic closure is perfect. If the edges of the cover feel a tiny bit rough (somebody mentioned that in a review here) you can smooth them with a light rub of a pumice stone or nail file. Never a fan of these type of cases but I'm liking this one. Perfect size,great quality with simple design and amazing feeling.

The media could not be loaded. Let me start off by saying that it matches the Matcha Kindle pretty well. So if you're looking to invest just based off the color, I say go for it.It's a pretty basic case. The top feels like it's made with fake leather with a piece of cardboard inside. All around the backside of it are black plastic "bumpers" that protect the edges of the device. The magnets must be pretty thin. They're not the strongest but not the weakest either. Would be easy for it to separate if holding upside down or it took a fall.It's not the most comfortable holding onto of your pinky (if you hold your kindle that way). Most of the time you'll feel the stiff cardboard pushing into the pinky more than the device itself since it's a tad bit wider.All in all I'm happy with this case for now. It's basic and does the job. Good investment if you're not looking for something too expensive.

The case is great, color is nice and Kindle basic fits snug into the case, case is sturdy and is nice and smooth.

I love the sleekness of the Kindle. It’s compact and fits right inside a small carry all or purse. The cover is a great quality and wipes clean easily. I was worried about it being too small to grip but it’s easy to hold. Every once in a while the magnet does not allow it to turn back on when I open it to read but closing it back once works.
