EZ BioResearch Malt Extract Agar (MEA) Plates for Mushroom Cultivation (10 Prepoured Agar Plates)

Works extremely well. I've purchased two so far. I've had success on every plate.

The petri dishes came in a secure box that was taped and labeled well. The good ends there.Upon opening the box I found that the dishes all come packaged together, stacked on each other upside down in a dusty, ziplock style, non-vacuum-sealed bag. None of the dishes are secured shut either. Parafilm or tape should have been used to make sure they don't come apart when trying to actually remove them from the small, poorly fitting bag also.Even after all this I still wanted to give them a chance. I don't know why, but I tried using them anyway. I used them within a week, just like the instructions tell you to do. One drop of LC in the center of each plate while in a SAB to help mitigate contamination. That's it. Every single plate built up an enormous amount of condensation and *GASP* was contaminated.If you just purchased these, I feel for you. Almost 25 bucks that I could've just burned and had more fun.DO NOT BUY THESE! THEY ARE TRASH!

Arrived packaged well and protected well. No infections or growths after arrival. Only thing to be aware of is they obviously aren't taped together to prevent you from opening them upon removing them from their protective bag. So be deliberate in your action when removing them from that bag.

Have ordered multiple times. All have arrived clean and worked well for mycology. Would like it to be a little more nutritious and thicker pour. Nice and clear, easy to see what's what.

I have bought these several times now and have had absolutely no contamination. I bought some Agar to mix at home however none of the plates I have done have worked out very well so I keep buying these with repeated good success.
