Does what it is supposed to do
Copies and de-encrypts cards very quickly. I had an older version of this machine & this new one is an improvement in every way. The user should note that it is necessary to scroll through the modes initially to get it to detect a particular type of key. (Some of the other reviews for this product don't seem to understand this function & suggest that the reader doesn't work - you do need to read the manual first. Also don't forget that writing a copy requires the right type of blank key card to write to- the same type as the one you are copying.)This version includes an adaptor which allows the use of the de-encryption software on a smart phone, which is much more convenient than using a PC.

Didn't work for me
It doesn't seem to detect any of the key fobs or access cards I tried. However, return was easy.

Absolute waste of money
It can detect the fobs that come with it and thats about it! Ive tried to read different fobs from different customers and it hasnt managed any.Dont waste your money.

Literally detects nothing on multiple things I've tried

Fine for MiFare - forget anything else
Fine for MiFare - forget anything else. Failed to even recognise a 125mhz card.
