Just get it. Its exceptional.
The build quality and the experience of using this grinder is incredible. I have been able to reliably create better pour overs across light, medium, and dark roast coffees at home than I have ever been able to order from cafes. The recommended grind settings are a little too fine for me, but 17-20 clicks from closed is perfect for V60 filters (for me).Easy to grip, easy to adjust, easy to grind, looks great. The grinder is full of subtle design choices that speak to a care and craftsmanship I dont encounter often. The inner surfaces of the receptacle cup are chamfered to ease pouring. The threaded section is triple threaded so you dont have to turn it a bunch of times to release it. You can easily measure out beans into the cup and then invert the main grinder onto the threaded section to transfer beans without spilling. The burr adjustment mechanism is recessed so you can stand the upper section of the grinder up without it tipping over. And on and on. It is excellent. I bet there are better grinders out there but I dont really care. Timemore has won me over.

100% control of coffee grinding
While I am not stupid, it took me a while to understand how to adjust the grinder setting. In my opinion, the instructions are not clear. After figuring it out, I am extremely pleased with how it works. Yes, the threads are super fine on the cup that catches the grounds, you simply need to be conscious of that and respect it. A video an older woman posted helped tremendously. I had my doubts about pour over coffee. After purchasing everything I needed, it produces a fantastic cup of coffee!! Yes it takes effort and it is time consuming and can be messy, but the quality of coffee is amazing! I searched Google for how many grams of coffee beans to use for a 13 ounce cup of coffee and it recommend around 26 grams. For me, that is insane. I use 13 grams and I am pleased with the strength of the coffee and flavor. By the way, it doesn't hurt to have a quality kitchen scale!! I use a paper filter in my pour over device mostly for ease of cleaning. The grinder is extremely well made and heavy duty. They engineered the handle perfectly. It operates easily and smoothly. You definitely know when you have finished grinding all of your coffee beans!!! I very highly recommend this product.Friday the 13th 2024. September.

Very nice grinder for espresso
I got the ESP Pro for espresso and so far it has exceeded my expectations. I find the grind setting easy to dial in and consistent. The grinder is a pleasure to use. I often grind 4-6 shots in succession and have no trouble. Some people here do get somewhat stuck when the burrs "bite off too much", so YMMV... It depends a lot on the grind and the beans: light beans at a coarse setting are the most difficult. Overall I have been very pleased. The only thing I can't comment on is whether it produces a lot more fines than a good electric grinder: I suspect so but would love to see some evidence...

Great build
Great manual coffee grinder. No issue after 8 months.

Excellent mechanical grinder.
I would have given this 5 stars, but it is primarily a single serving type grinder, which is why I sent mine back. Great design, except not quite big enough capacity without repeating the process of grinding when the coffee container is full of grounds....for 1 maybe 2 cups.

Delighted with this grinder
This is a solidly constructed yet light device that easily produces very consistently sized grounds thanks to burr grinding. Easy to adjust ground size via a screw on underside. Using hand crank is straightforward, but lift it straight up and off center arm rather than twisting. Doesn’t take long to get feel for when all beans have been ground. Holds enough beans for an 8 oz. cup. Seems this grinder maximizes rather than diminishes coffee aroma and taste.

A good price for a GREAT espresso grinder!
I sold my Baratza 270Wi and have a Varia VS6 coming with the Kilo burrs....! Super stoked! But... I told myself I can't buy the VS6 until I sold my 270.... so when I sold it I had a few weeks before the VS6 arrived and I bought this hand grinder. I thought this would be perfect for camping as well - so let's get something really good - not crazy expensive great but midrange good.Well I have to say - once the Timemore is dialed in - IT MAKES AN GREAT CUP OF ESPRESSO! I use the Gaggia Classic Pro and it did take a few tires to get it dialed - but once I did it has been very consistent. I gladly recommend it!

Excellent introduction to Coffee
This is the perfect grinder to get into coffee as a long term hobby. It is well built, extremely enjoyable to use, and if you plan on drinking anything except espresso it gets the job done great. I use an Aeropress almost everyday and I switch which beans I'm using month to month, and it has done a great job for the past 2 months so far. A lot of people online recommend buying a $100+ grinder, but I think this one will last a long time and do as much as I plan on doing for the foreseeable future. If you're getting into drinking coffee as a hobby or want to get a good quality gift for a coffee drinker who wants to start using beans, I highly recommend this coffee grinder!
