We had a problem with leaking taps fixed onto a very deep Belfast sink. They had been situ a long time and had started to rust. The existing taps had extenders and I couldn't find two single taps to replace them that would be tall enough. Finding this PHASAT kitchen mixer tap has totally solved the problem with its unique feature of being adjustable. Our French plumber has remarked that he hasn't seen anything like this in France, as he had been perplexed about how we were going to solve the problem of replacing the old taps. So PHASAT you could have a big European market to explore!! We're really pleased how the taps look and they work a treat. When fixing you just need someone to hold the unit in place to stop movement whilst the plumber/person fitting them screws them underneath. They are very easy to install. A winner. And so nice not to have bowls to collect the water from the taps underneath the sink any more!!!

Update: almost 2 years have passed since buying and never had any issues. Just recently I noticed that water was coming out from button when I changed it to spray mode. Contacted the seller and they were prompt to send me a replacement sprayer....2 years later. Was pleasantly surprised and impressed.Recommended even more than when I first bought this.Easy enough to install if you have enough space under your sink. Looks amazing and works perfectly. Arrived on time.

These are good value and fairly easy to fit, not sure why they re described as Traditional Renaissance style as they are clearly modern in style, I have one minor issue with them which is that when fully closed the tap handles don't sit in the same position, the hot is about a quarter turn further to shut off, so they don't look symmetrical when shut off. I am not sure I would have noticed this had my plumber not pointed it out and I wish he hadn't as it is now the first thing I see when I look at them! Other than that though for the price they are very good and I would still recommend them, though they were only fitted yesterday.

Please do not buy it.. Even if you are desperate.. its unbelievable how crappy this thing is... So i have obviously non standard old sink.. with centers around 20.5.. I ordered this junk. First time it arrived without one nut that goes under the sink so they cant count to 2 in the factory.. I ordered again because we needed it urgently.. Second one was complete, but once fitted i discovered that it has a tiny crack in the metal and you can see spray of water coming out in the picture. Please!!! Please read negative reviews, there is another review with exactly same issue. Its either a common defect, or it was returned item sent to next customer. You cant imagine how angry i was after spending my time installing everything and finding that kind of a hole.. in a piece of solid metal.. And if i read similar review i could think that maybe plumber was not careful and damaged it, but i assembled it all myself, i did not damage the freaking thing, it was hand tightened, not any kind of gas wrenched, i expected a leak in the washers because like other reviewers mentioned the thread is too short and you need more than one washer which i discovered after i used the replacement metal bit from first set. With 2 sets i had 4 parts to try, 2 of them were impossible to tighten, 2 went quite ok, but one of them had a crack.. so you will be properly lucky if you get a non defective set.. for 50+ pounds!!!!! its just how is that possible?? i killed 3-4 hours on this thing yesterday and i gave up. I done this before, im not an idiot. Please read one stars ad believe them!! Its all true! Unless you happy to play returns and mix and match i doubt you will be happy..

I love the look of it, unusual, also very functional. I tried to show each mode in the photo's. It is well made and sturdy, only time will tell if the chrome plating is heavy or light duty. Yes, I love it to bits.

I've had this tap installed for approximately 5 years and suddenly the button to switch between nozzle settings has stopped working and I am stuck on spray. Unfortunately it appears to be broken/unfixable without replacing the tap. It's a shame because this tap looks brilliant and has been working fine up until this point, I really feel like a tap should last more than 5 years before breaking.

If you remove the levers and turn them around, you can fit the unit back to front and the taps will open forwards instead. If you look inside from underneath, you see they have a red or blue washer, but both sides have the same ceramic innards so it doesn't matter which side is hot or cold. I verified this with the seller.I initially had them fitted set back, thinking they'd look better that way but I find it much more practical with them set forwards. I chose this tap specially because I'm tall and got fed up with stooping at the sink. As it is now, I don't need to stoop at all.They did start to drip after three years but I contacted the seller and they sent replacement cartridges for free. Very simple to replace. They did ask me to send them my name, address and phone number in an email which isn't exactly protocol, something to do with customs as they come from China, but they came soon enough and the taps are good as new now.They still shine up like new three years later - best with foamy bathroom spay, any brand. Very happy with them.

The hardest part of this was removing the old tap. Instructions are clear and the parts are very well made. In operation the tap aerates the water by design. The spray function is very useful around the sink too. Wish I had seen this one when I last replaced the tap. Excellent all round.
