Pretty engaging
its a very engaging toy. it takes a quite a few batteries to get it started. 3 AAA batteries for the robot and 2 AA for the remote. i recommend getting rechargeable batteries to swap for quick plays. otherwise you will go through quite a bit of batteries. they toy does last for quite a while, i havent had to change the batteries yet but the kids do seem to like the toy. it is loud but you can turn the sound off which is nice

Not just for young kids.
This is one of two remote control toys we bought for an 8 year old. It seems all ages, up to 14, are having fun with it. I personally am not a fan of the pre-programmed "dance" button, but the kids get a kick out of it.

Fun Toy - Even For Adults
You will need 5 AA batteries. They are not included. A big plus is a very small screwdriver is included. It is needed to remove the battery cover on the remote and thr robot. I had no problem using it on the controller but could not get it to turn on the robot. It seemed to small. I used a slight;y larger one which I own, and it was okay. Works fine on carpet and off and I love all the sound effects. Easy to use. The eyes light up so it is fun to play with in the dark as well. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars was because of the problem with the screwdriver

Fun little robot kit
Engaging robotic kit. Challenging but not that hard to build. Perfect for kids interested in STEM. Good introduction to robotics. Good range with remote control. Surprisingly very flexible and powerful little robot. It is a fun little kit. My kids love it. Fun and informative. Recommended.

Excellent for a 6 year old; my 6 year old daughter loves it; quiet
This requires 5 AA batteries; 3 for the robot and 2 for the remote control. Comes with the tiny screwdriver needed to access the battery compartments. The eyes light up. The left and right turn buttons make it spin in place to the right or left. It's cute, and a pleasing size for a 6 year old (comfortable to hold in her hands). The robot arms are not moved with the controller, they are manually moved with your hand. Really pleasing toy for my 6 year old daughter. I like that it's not noisy. This is not a toy for a child who plays rough. Excellent for a 6 year old.

Great fun robot!
My two year old son loves this robot. It is super easy for him to control and the pre programmed choreography button is super neat. I like that there is a button to turn the sound off. The batteries last for a very long time.

Perfect Stem Gift
I bought this as a gift, and the kids love it! Is very easy to use and even my .3 year old has been using it. THey are having so much and at the same time they are learning. I wouldnt have it any other way. THis is a very unique and multi-use gift. Fun, entertaining and they also learn. This toy is very cute and I love how the eyes light up and how it dances.
