Pins are removable
These seem to be quality hinges. Some reviews said the pin was not removable, but it is removable. The long screw that's included is for the purpose of striking the pin with a hammer to release the pin. This is easily done prior to installation.

These hinges look really nice and met all our needs.

Not bad
I didn't realize there light duty hinges. So I used three on the heavy door I built and they work just fine. However the screws are short and you only get ONE longer screw with all the hinges. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but keep that in mind.
