Bissell Cleanview XR Pet 300W Cordless Vacuum with Removable Battery, 3797V

I bought this for my newly remodeled bathroom when I noticed that my Dyson left marks on the new floor. This works super well. It vacuums up all the debris and my hair, and is easy to use. The vacuum "bag" is very small so it cannot hold a lot. I love how powerful this small vacuum is. Love the purple also. It is super light in weight.

This vacuum cleaner has definitely been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It has amazing power, cleans deeply, and leaves everything spotless with minimal effort. It’s also easy to handle, lightweight, and much quieter than other models I’ve tried. It truly saves me time and energy when cleaning my home, and that is priceless.I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for an efficient, practical, and high-quality vacuum cleaner, this is the one.

Overall, it's a good vacuum. It functions well. Here are my thoughts on it.Pros: It's lightweight. The different attachments are great. It comes apart easily. It stores great if you don't use the wall charger because you can take it apart and it will fit practically anywhere. It has great suction for such a small vacuum. It's nice that it's cordless because you don't have to keep moving the plug to a different outlet in each room.Cons: The battery doesn't last that long. I vacuumed 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, my living room and kitchen and the battery was almost dead from a full charge. It's not tangle free even though it claims to be. I still had to cut the hair out of the roller in the base. These 2 reasons are why I only gave it 4 stars.

Great Purchase!I am really impressed with the suction capability of this vacuum. It is just the right size and is very light. I was looking for this type of vacuum to pick up all the fur from my kitties and this does a great job. I am so glad that I made this purchase!

PSA: Do Not Purchase If …. you have any area rugs, mats or carpet in your house! This does not work on those surfaces!!!!!!I normally don’t write reviews for products I buy but I feel like this review is important. A lot of reviews I read on products seem so fantasized and theatrical that it’s really hard to trust them or take them seriously. Vacuums are expensive and essential to keeping a house clean, so thorough and honest reviews are important when searching for a vacuum. I purchased this vacuum to replace my cordless Shark vacuum that I’ve had for 5 years. I have 3 medium to large dogs, two of which have double layer coats that shed so much and 2 cats, one of which is long haired and sheds horribly. I also have 3 kids who love to forget to take their shoes off in the mud room. The need for a lightweight, durable, strong powered and quiet vacuum that can handle the pet hair and dirt in my house is a MUST. I began noticing that the suction of the Shark vacuum was decreasing drastically and it just wasn’t getting my floor clean. The battery life was also getting shorter after years of daily use. So after reviewing and searching for a new vacuum, I purchased this one. It says it works on multi surfaces, furniture, hardwood floors and other various areas. I read reviews about customers using it on carpets without issue. I only have one room in my house with carpet and I use a corded Shark vacuum on that. The rest of my house is hardwood floors, laminate in the mud room and some area rugs or mats in various rooms. This vacuum does amazing cleaning up animal hair on hardwood surfaces. Cleaning with it is great and the suction is awesome. I LOVE the light feature that makes seeing missed areas so easy. I also love the design of it and that it came with the wall mount parts. I can use it getting pet hair and dirt off furniture, my cat tower, window sills, baseboards, curtains etc. Now, here are my major issues. My 1st issue is the battery life because it is awful. If you use it on high, you have less than 8 minutes. I usually stick to medium or low power which can give me 20-30 mins max. Those suction strengths get the job done on the high traffic area if I’m doing a quick run through. On furniture, bedding, cat towers, I need to use the high power setting so I have a short window to get those done. You can purchase back up batteries so when one battery dies, you can replace it with the full charged one. This can solve the short battery life problem which is something you can’t do on most vacuums. So, while the battery life is an issue, it at least can be solved with purchasing more batteries to extend the usage time. Batteries were around $30, give or take. Most vacuums have their batteries built in, making it impossible to solve a poor battery life issue. So that is a small silver lining. My 2nd and biggest issue with this vacuum is that it does not work on area rugs, mats or thin carpet. I have bathroom and kitchen mats, entry way rugs, and area rugs in various rooms of the house that are all thin. I only own the light and thin washable rugs because of pets and kids which tend to cause messes, marks and stains on rugs and mats. Unfortunately, every time I try to use this vacuum, it suctions tight to the rug and cuts off. I tried several of the attachments with the same result. Using the skinny and longer extension attachments are the only thing that doesn’t cut it off on rugs and mats. Those attachments aren’t feasible or strong enough for getting dirt and hair off/out of area rugs or mats. This has been my biggest disappointment. Now I need to find another solution for those areas, which will probably result in purchasing a new vacuum. I rated this vacuum a 3 because it still has a lot of great features about it but unfortunately if you have area rugs, mats or carpet in your house, this vacuum is NOT for you and you should not purchase it. Also, the battery life of this vacuum is 20-30 mins max. So if you need a vacuum to run longer than that and are not willing to purchase back up batteries, don’t purchase this vacuum. I hope this review helps others who are researching for new vacuums to purchase!

My toddler was obsessed with vacuum's and we got him a toy one from the thrift store. But I thought, why not get him a REAL one so that he can play AND clean the floors. This is great and I actually find myself using it more than he does even though I also love our other vacuum. The only downside is that you have to unplug the cord when he wants to move somewhere else with it. I would have preferred it to be battery powered for that reason, but all the battery powered ones are really expensive. This was reasonably priced. The upside is, since it's corded, it gives it a decent amount of suction. It is made for hardwood, not carpet. No brush head on it. You have the option of three different lengths, which is nice, and it's nice and light. Don't expect any heavy duty cleaning, but it picks up crumbs and things just fine. We used it to clean the car out too, so that was handy. This would NOT replace a regular vacuum unless you only have hardwood and don't need any heavy duty cleaning. But if you want something for light cleanings, this works great.

I just finished using the Bissell Lightweight Vacuum cleaner for the first time and I love it! So quick and easy to put together, with clear instructions, I had it ready to go in minutes. I immediately used it in a tiny room with too much furniture and nooks and crannies that were always so difficult and irritating to navigate and this vacuum worked like a dream. Easily cleaned all the edges and corners, and under the bed. Works on rugs, tile floor, and the front doorway rug with about a billion tiny decorative crevices, just like that! With no annoying adjustments larger, heavier, noisier vacuum cleaners require.I wish I had discovered this lightweight, really adorable vacuum cleaner years ago, it could have saved me so much time and prevented painful backaches.Highly recommended!
