These are the snacks my kid s always preferred over candy when they were growing up. Seriously - over candy! They'd ask for Slim Jims for their "suprise" whenever I went shopping. Sometimes I'd get them the single looong Slim Jims, but most of the time I'd buy the packages of the Slim Jim "shorties" - they lasted longer.When I go on the "Keto" or other high-protein diet, the smaller Slim Jims are the perfect snack for carrying with me when I'm out and about. (They're a great snack when I'm home too, of course!). They aren't all dried up and withered, - they're soft and have a smoky-tangy taste that makes you want more.I still get Slim Jim "shorty" packs for my (grown) kids for stocking stuffers and Valentines Day treats. i always have my own stash too for a healthier snack whether I'm dieting or not. Maybe some day I'll be SLIM...like JIM! (I know - rhat was bad.)
