At last instructions are printed in a font large enough for aging eyes. Also includes information about depth penetration for different settings, which I haven't seen, perhaps overlooked, in other brands. The device itself is easy to use and clean.

Compared to the lancing device that my health insurance pharmacy provide this is absolutely sturdier. Just make sure to get the correct lancet for this. Unfortunately this product didn't tell you which to get.

A very reasonable replacement or extra. Makes fine for a travel size or secondary around the house!DOES NOT contain the lancets, so please make sure you have disposable lancets.Settings - 1-10, Depth 1 does not pierce for me, and 5 is just about right, but I have fairly soft skin. 10 Was deep and honestly hurt a bit, so I suggest starting low until you find the right depth.Build Quality - Simple. It's very light weight, but still feels sturdy enough to survive for a long time as long as it isn't dropped or stepped on.

I broke the lance of my kit and needed a replacement. Looked all over for one that had a clear base next to the lance so I could see through and judge if I had a bubble big enough.

My fingers are difficult to lance and this device didn’t help at all . A waste of money .

It's been a long time since I tested on fingers. My "Microlet2's" spring broke (it's done this before and it still works just fine if you cock it upside down) but I thought I'd order one or two more, but the only ones like it were ridiculously priced, so I gave up and ordered a couple of this unit instead. Since it had a clear piece at the distal end (where it breaks the skin) I thought it might be OK for testing on the palm or elsewhere, but even on the "deepest" setting it barely broke the skin on the palm. I'm not impressed. Hoping I can find some of the old ones somewhere for a decent price.

This lancet device was a little confusing to use at first but it's so much nicer than my last one! I hardly feel it when I poke myself!
