Worth more than what I paid!
Americangaslogs Rectangular Gas Fire Pit and Gas Fireplace H-Burner H Burner has turned out to be the best upgrade I made to my ancient firebox. Instillation was pretty straight forward. My only problem was how high off the firebox floor I wanted. Trial and error answered my questions. I really needed to decrease the space between the burner and the log rack. Easy to fix though, lift the burner, add more sand and readjust. Burns great, excellent heat into my family room and it looks so much better. You will still need the other fire rock and ember fluff, but with a little touch here and there You will have a good-looking fire.

Horrible flame height.
Flame only comes out about 4 inches high, out of the center rod only, not sure if we got a bad one out of the batch, but the outer rods do not have any flame coming out

Good. Easy to install. No whistling.
This kit was incredibly easy in helping me convert my wood into a gas fireplace.
