Optiplex 9010 - A great computer
This is a great machine for general computing, specially at this price. Mine came with the i5-3570 even though it was advertised as a i5-3470, which is a nice bonus. 8 GB of ram is enough to run Win 10 very well. I wanted to see how the system would handle using all the ram so I opened more Firefox windows. Got to about 40 tabs before ram use got to 7 GB and the system started to slow down slightly. At 50 tabs it really slowed down. Ya, I'm happy with that :)The 5000 rpm 2 TB hard drive is fast enough to boot Windows 10 in about 1 1/2 minutes. Add an SSD and it will probably go down to 30 seconds max. The onboard graphics is good enough to run my two monitors (1600 x 1200 and 1920 x 1080) just fine, but is not good enough for gaming. There is enough room in the mini tower case to add a good graphics card, but watch out for the power consumption. The power supply is rated 275 watts, but that can be replaced.

Honestly I sold this
I had bought this being so excited about finally having a computer with tons of memory. I used it 6 months and sold it even with the insurance. It ended up being worst computer I ever bought. I went back to using my iPad and invested in a new iPad because the quality is so much better. I don’t believe that all dell products are bad and this one may be great but I bought it refurbished so it could be that was the issue. I suggest you really do your home work with looking at this stuff. I couldn’t use a wireless printer for it , my card making disc wouldn’t down load. Just research take the time.

GREAT STARTING POINT
Awesome company, LOTS of room for expansion. I like going this route when I make mid range gaming rigs. The mouse and key board are incredibly cheap but get the job done, well at least the keyboard did. I don't think the mouse was meant for a desktop (it has a super short cord) so I am just using my trusty m310 Logitech wireless mouse. The keyboard has a terrible backspace but so what. Very happy with this product otherwise. Has two pci-e slots and can support an I7 upgrade later on down the road and up to 32GB of RAM. I will be buying a low power EVGA 1050 that runs off the MOBO (I highly recommend the card as I used it in my other computer) and will run bf1/PUBG great!

A Pleasant Encounter
When my old Dell Inspiron finally kicked the bucket (bad hard drive card) I decided to purchase an inexpensive newer computer to replace it. After a brief search on Amazon I settled on a refurbished Dell OptiPlex. While it was not the newest nor the fastest computer available, its specs appeared to be a really good mix for the price, and a great value. Now the only thing was to quell any misgivings about it being refurbished. I had previously bought a refurbished monitor through Amazon for my granddaughter, and it had been perfect. The results have been beyond expectations. StallionTek delivered the product early. I was especially pleased with the packaging. It was first rate and it beautifully protected the case and contents. Setting up the computer was a breeze, so after all updates had finished, my new OptiPlex was all set. My bottom line: Good product, great price, outstanding execution of my order. I couldn't be happier with the results.

So Far So Good.
The computer arrived safely and in excellent condition. I immediately ran a virus - malware scan and found nothing. I then uploaded Office and Norton. Fast and easy. My old computer was 11 years old with windows 7 so you can only imagine my learning curve. My old computer was "renewed" and worked very well. I got it from Best Buy and found a lot of crap on it before I began using it.I would HIGHLY recommend this process to anyone. From a reputable business.

The computer seems to run good now that all the problems are fixed
I had problems with the computer right out of the box. It blue screened the first time I booted it up. I had to go into safe mode to fix the problem. Then the second DVD Rom drive was never hooked up. I had to install a cable to it. I felt the machine was not checked over very well before it was shipped. The computer seems to run good now that all the problems are fixed.

Up Date
Had this computer now several days. I have added a hard drive for Linux and boot with F12 to choose Windows or Linux. This has been working very well for me. I had a 400 W power supply on hand so I swapped it out after which the computer would not boot. I called support and got the type of help I needed right away. The technician was helpful and friendly. solving my trouble right away. I give them 5 stars for their promptness and knowledge in assisting me.

Dell Optiplex 9010 Tower
To be perfectly honest with you - - - - - - - - I'm am highly disappointed with the overall quality of this Dell unit..First Off, as soon as the power plug was inserted, the system fans ramped up to high speed and there was noVideo output; I reseated the RAM Chips and checked all of the cables. NOTHING - No Video To The Monitor!Secondly; Hard Drive was dislodged inside of the case.Three; There was a deep gash in the bottom front of the bezel as well as various scuffs and scratches on the case.Four; The cheapo' mouse was broken into 3 pieces.Five; This is two out of three systems that I bought from this vendor that have had various issues.Six; I think I am going to look elsewhere for a refurb supplier; I'm starting to question the quality control standardsof these systems.Seven; I have been repairing and refurbishing Laptops at my Business for about 5 years now; and I only resell themif they are in "Grade A" condition. If you are looking for a system rating for these PC's - - - - - - - Cosmetically, I would grade then as "B".
