Exactly what I needed.
I wanted a simple boost pedal for solos and fills. This is exactly that. One knob simplicity at its best. I looked a several other choices and the price for this one sold me. I am surprised at how loud it is. I use it at less that 1/4 of the way up. I really like the temporary’ in when holding the button for quick things. Only thing o would add is a knob cover so I can adjust it with my foot.

Good pedal at a good price
Good little item that gives a great boost and mixes with my other pedals well. Well worth the price.

Solid Choice, Simple (maybe too basic)
The TC Electronic Spark Mini Booster is excellent for my amplified Spanish guitar. It gives the perfect boost when I need to loop or highlight melodies for improvisation. The clean, transparent sound is impressive, and it’s super easy to use.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s a very simple pedal, and a bit more flexibility or features could make it even better. That said, it’s still a fantastic addition to my setup.

Great! Adds a third master volume to my Marshall for leads
The media could not be loaded. I’m using the effects loop for my DSL40CR, with only this single pedal running through the loop. This gives me exactly what I wanted. With the big Marshall footswitch, now I have 3 volume settings for each of the four channels from clean through OD2 without affecting tone at all. Just what I wanted for those lead moments where you need to break through.

Everything They Say Is True
Yes, everything you've read about this is true, well, except for the reviews that think this is the only pedal you'll EVER need. You know those reviews. This is not one of them. The Spark is great at what it does -- a tone booster/preamp with only slight (and positive) coloration. You plug in the in cable on the left and the out cable on the right. You plug in 9v- power. The single knob controls volume. That's all there is to it.I've found that it's great for a variety of music styles, from shoegazer to doom metal to ambient. At the moment, my pedal chain is Epiphone Gothic -> Spark -> Dark Moby Delay (Hungry Robots) -> Fathom (Walrus Audio) -> Tech 21 Power Engine Amp. I've had other pedals in the chain, and I've moved the Spark around. I've had the most success with having it early in the chain. It's not buffered, so I guess you'd need a buffering pedal somewhere down the line if your signal chain is long enough, but I never had to use one.All in all, It's a great tone boost/pre-amp that won't break the bank. It's solidly built, as another pedal site once said, "simple as a drummer", and reliable. For $50, it's money well-spent.

Perfect for my rig
I don't play a lot of leads but when I do this is perfect for that little boost to be heard but not be obnoxiously loud
