Great knife for the money!
As a Master Craftsman, knife collector, and knife maker, while considering the price of the knife, my initial expectations were a bit low, but after reading the reviews and watching several videos of these types of knives being batoned through wood and chopping wood, my expectations grew! My first impressions once the knife arrived were extremely favorable. It was a pleasurable unboxing experience.Albeit I haven't used it yet for anything strenuous, I have thoroughly inspected it and found that the craftsmanship is quite solid, and the fit and finish are near perfect. The plunge grinds are all symmetrical, and the secondary edge arrived razor sharp right out of the box. It feels very well balanced, though it does take a little bit of getting used to the integral finger groove which limits your gripping technique. I am quite curious as to the internal workings of the handle, especially what the tang looks like and how it is attached to the wood handle.I appreciate the design of the two-tone bonded leather sheath, clean stitching and all the decorative tooling, though, in my opinion, it is just thick enough to make it acceptable to me. I prefer thick, pliable top-grain or full-grain leather sheaths. The leather strap on the snap closure is good and strong and the snap closure itself is sufficiently secure. I also appreciate the presentation box and the foam cut-out insert because this adds a nice, additional asthetical touch. I've replaced the lanyard that came with it with a much stronger leather boot type strap. I've also added a decorative, antiqued stainless steel lion head pendant to the lanyard as a compliment to the brass lion head on the sheaths snap closure. I'm quite certain that this knife will function as well as it looks and it's certainly well worth the minimal cost. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

I love this knife
this is a cool little knife I use for my motorcycle and camping trips. First, it looks badass. Second, it's perfect for camping. The sheath could be a little more sturdy, but that just means I can make my own if this one fails

Good knife but not Damascus
It’s not Damascus. The blade is etched.

Incredibly well made knife! Able to split entire logs of firewood without issue!!!
The media could not be loaded. Alrighty folks, so I really liked the product video for this one. I watched it like 6 times. I don't know, something about it, it just seemed calming hearing the "conk conk conk" of a guy knocking a knife through bits of wood. So I thought, 'why not do the EXACT same thing to review this!' - and there you have my review, haha. Watch my video. I did exactly what they did in the product video where they knock the knife through various chunks of wood to cut it.I used an entire log of wood and split it into multiple pieces. The knife cut incredibly well, it took very little force to knock it down each time. The knife edge didn't chip anywhere and was not dulled afterwards. The tip of the blade was not damaged. The craftsmanship is really beautiful on both the knife, the handle, and the sheath. The knife itself is exceptionally well made. Ergonomically I guess I'm not a huge fan of the front index finger slot but that's just personal preference. The handle appears to be made out of real wood with a very high polish finish. The wood grains on mine are not the same as the one in the product listing photos and mine has a wood knot on one end with a crack from the knot visible at the surface level. This wouldn't be the case if it was an imitation wood product. I took another knife and cut into the bottom of the hilt and it cuts like a real wood. The sheath itself is made of real leather but probably a lower quality cut or lower quality processing. It doesn't seem as high as quality as some other leather products I own and doesn't have as strong of a leather odor to it as some products. I can't fault this though - the entire package is $33 which is honestly cheaper than the knife alone should probably be and you're getting the leather sheath as well as basically a freebie. The only negative I could find is that the sheath has an inner bit of fabric sewn in that the knife tip can catch when you're sheathing it. I have a photo showing this. As long as you press the blade toward the inner half of the sheath it's not an issue but it was still annoying at first before I knew what was happening. This is a solid 5/5 from me. An incredibly well made knife that performed far better than I was expecting with zero damage from chopping a complete log of wood into multiple pieces! At only $33 this is an absolute steal! I'm planning to check out this companies product line and find a knife of similar size with a different hilt design that better suits me and buy it. I'm super impressed!
