Black rice is very healthy for everyone, even diabetics. I do not know about the legend of it being forbbiden in China or not, since all my friends from that part of the world have not heard of it, but what I do know is that i have been eating it almost every day for one year, and I feel just fine.I recommend this rice.

I followed the directions and it turned out perfect. Did add some chicken bullion with the boiling water. So good. Yum...
