RYOBI ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless 6-1/2 in. Track Saw (Tool Only) (PTS01K)

I've used a number of different track saws, including some several times the price of this one. For how much this costs, it can't be beat. Cuts cleanly (get a better blade), locks nicely to the track, and has a convenient depth setter.The tracks themselves work fairly well and are extendable. No slippage once they're bolted together, but once you add more extensions some of the transitions could be smoother.Battery life is alright but nothing amazing. You definitely need a 4ah+ battery for this. I was averaging around 700" in 3/4" ply with an older battery and 40t blade.

It is so nice to be able to make a straight cut...truly straight cut. I am not much of a wood worker, carpenter, or anything like that. I can't cut a straight line. Well I was laying some wood flooring. Granted the walls are not square, but my cuts are! Very fast and accurate. Doesn't take much time to set up, and a perfect cut every time. And it is affordable for guy at home that it going to use it for just a couple of projects...plus you can take it wherever you are working it is so small and light...I love the invention of battery operated tools.

My wife got this for me for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It works so slick.

I was hoping to use this for cutting edges for some of my expoxy projects. Average thickness of the wood was 2-2.5". This cannot handle that. It just doesn't have the power. For less thick pieces, it works fine. Plywood and other similarly made up wood; it's great.Go with Makita, Milwaukee, etc. if you need a tracksaw to cut large pieces or a corded saw with a kreg jig

Straight cut every time. The saw is quite powerful. I use a 1.5 inch dense foam sheet under my project.

I have several tools from Ryobi and have used with complete satisfaction over the years in my profession. I was very excited to havea new tracksaw , but unfortunately disappointed with this tracksaw. The saw is very awkward to unlock and push smoothly down the track! The tracks plastic rip guide endedup being cut smaller from one end to the other, making it hard to line up for equal rips.I hope Ryobi can do improvements in the future. I still believe Ryobi provides good quality tools at very affordable prices. Thank you EW

My first time with a track saw and i am impressed. Thought about one of the more expensive brands but gave this a try first. Glad i did. Saw is easy to use, track doesn't move about while cutting and it has the power to cut through 3/4" osb with ease.
