Brilliant buy for classroom pencil pots. As described they can be used for anything. They'll work really well for easy access of pencils.

I got the ones that are narrower at the bottom (I see there are also cylindrical versions) and they're very good.Quality is great, where some cheap ones can look naff these look well finished.They're a very useful size, not to big or small, they're perhaps close to the size of a standard mug? With 6 in the pack they're superb for the office desk as I have (well, had) one of those plastic things with various height tubes you drop all your stuff in. I find these little baskets actually better for my purposes.For a couple of quid each for the six it's a good price too, as I say they look better quality than some cheap things I've had.Overall very happy, they're already being put to good use.

I've been using an old mug to store pens on my desk, but these little pots are a serious upgrade! First, they look a lot better, and second, the way they taper nicely towards the bottom makes it much easier to grab the pen or pencil you want.My only quibble is that they come in a pack of six, and most people won't need more than a couple of them - that said, at less than £2 each, you can't really complain - give the others away to your friends or family!
