Very nice
It’s very easy to clean and I use to cook food for my baby. It’s been a week I am using this pressure cooker but it made my life easy.Highly recommended.

glass lid is a good feature, but some downsides
if the gasket begins to warp or wear the seal will leak and it is very hard to communicate with the distributor to get a new seal. good for one person for small meals. i use it on a small sail boat and in a camper van.

Best one so far!
Best one so far. It doesn't burn the food. Once the lid is sealed knob is locked, switch to medium low heat, it does the job wonderful. Was bit pricy over $80 for 1.5 litre when I bought it close to an year ago. But loving it though.

Best used with induction heating
i like a lot of things about this cooker, and i find it a most useful addition to my cooking artillery. there are a few issues with using a pressure cooker this small, though, and I wish to advise buyers about them with this review. But first, I did not buy this cooker from Amazon (I would buy it today, however, as the price has become VERY competitive); I do have the same model, size, brand, etc.,I like the small size: it is perfect for side-dishes and one-pot meals for 1 or 2 people. The hard-anodized Al is surprisingly light-weight and (said-to-be) exceedingly strong - great for puny and arthritic hands. HA surfaces are not non-stick, but they are durable and non-toxic. HA is the best! That said, this cooker's diminutive size does make for limitations: foods that foam are prohibited, and foods that swell and expand are generally limited to 1/2 C. + the 2 - 3 cups to hydrate them. I can cook a full meal of beans to go with rice, for example. Many people say they use this cooker to cook food for their babies. I just cook for one, and this cooker is fast. The directions that came with my cooker said to AWAYS cook with 1 1/2 C. water. This cooker is for "direct cooking" as in making soups and stews. There is no trivet and no included way or direction for just steaming. I use a trivet to hold my (2 -3 small) beets or potatoes off the bottom and out of the water for steaming them - a neat trick given the mandatory volume of added water.Although I'm a fan of internal-lid-PCs, I like the external fitting lid on a cooker this small. My lid stays out of the pot contents. This cooker is a whistler (another thing I like about it) AND it has a Pressure Indicator, as well. In use, the PI rises up well before the whistle blows when maximum pressure is reached, (and it lets me know when I can/can't open the cooker); when the whistle blows (I'm deaf and I appreciate that it's LOUD), I set the temperature down to a place just BELOW the whistling point - BECAUSE the whistling can shoot out a lot of steam and water and debris - more so than with my other cookers. If the pressure cooking time is long, I imagine a considerable amount of liquid could be lost so that the cooker could run dry: hence the mandated amounts of water to be added. While I could fault Prestige for a poor design, I think this short-coming is more a function of the cooker's small size. I am inclined to keep the temperature under the whistling point, at a pressure somewhat lower than a maximum 15 psi, and cook for a little longer time. This is easy to do on an induction stove where you can be precise with both the time and the temperature, and that is why I recommend this cooker be used with induction. All that said, I actually did pressure-cook some bones at 15 psi for about one hour; I kept having to lower the temperature toward the end of the cooking time to keep the whistle silent, and when everything was done, the fusible plug had fused (but the pot was NOT dry). The pot is still functional, but I'm now looking for some spare fuses. IT TAKES A LITTLE MORE CARE AND EXPERIMENTING WITH THIS COOKER TO GET THE MAXIMUM BENEFIT FROM IT. IMO, it's worth it. The gasket, btw, is a good one: it's made of nitrile rubber and neither has nor imparts flavors or odors. Be sure you can get spare parts!

Poor quality material
Poor quality material as food stick at the base. Also, difficult to clean as food does not easily come out and if trying to remove the food it scratch easliy.
