This has to be my worst purchase in the many years of buying off Amazon cheap plastic rubbish that dont even fit my mondeo keys into it i have a mk 4 so if your looking for that type stay away from this DONT FIT

The quality is so so. Make signal strength low can't work from far need to go to car for remote use. But fine value for money.

New replacement car key which was easy to reassemble.

Very poor didn't come with the logo sticker so will be returning this

I've literally just swopped my fob over from the original to this one and I can confirm that the process was simple, pain free and had no issues at all. Everything fits like it should and all the buttons work like they should to. Granted this should be the case as ultimately it is just a replacement case to cover the circuit board but that doesn't mean the connections always make contact.For the money I have no complaints and nobody would really know that it wasn't an original. On closer inspection, I do think the material used isn't necessarily as good as if it was an original but there's not much in it really and you're saving quite a bit too than going straight to the manufacturer.Thumbs up from me no problem at all!

I'm impressed with the quality of this item and the ease of assembly without the need for any special tools. After opening up my old fob case I needed to lift out the small circuit board and transfer it over into the new silicone rubber mount (swapped out the pink for the grey). The next job was to transfer the batteries over and I was pleased that the new fob case already had the electrical contacts assembled, so there was no need to transfer them over. I carefully lifted off the original foam cushion and glued it to the case of the new shell. I think that foam cushion is there to protect the chip in the event that the fob gets dropped. After doing that I was able to re-assemble and fit the self-adhesive Ford logo.Overall I am very impressed with this Key Fob replacement and at this price it can be highly recommended.
