Yo, my water filter was messed up the outside was stripped from trying to loosen it, one of the blades broke off on the inside, trying to loosen it,I had lost all hope and was trying to figure out how to tell my wife I ruined the water filter. Then I saw this tool on Amazon. I bought it along with a new filter. This thing worked like a charm. Finger tight on new filter, no reason to over tighten.

I was a little skeptical The Tankless Tool can get my filter out after breaking my first Rinnai filter with pliers. The one time I tried to take the filter out with pliers prior to these ones 1-2 years ago was a nightmare.The second time I cleaned my Rinnai I broke the filter again and decided to get this tool. The water is very hard here and the filter was caked with calcium making my filter difficult to take out. This was despite the filter only being 1-2 years since I last cleaned my Rinnai. The YouTube videos make it look easy with the pliers.The Tankless Tool took both my filter and my sister’s filters out with ease despite both being broken. The picture with two filters shows a new filter I put in with the busted filter I took out with the tool. Be sure to place The Tankless tool all the way in prior to ratcheting it out. I hope everyone else buying this feels the relief I did.
