Excellent!Food always tastes better when cooked on a gas stove as electric is too fierce to retain flavour.Am thinking of boiling water on this stove as well since another customer pointed out that gas is a fifth of the price of electric.Back to the old whistling kettles of the 50's.Using a gas canister and this indoor gas stove is a great way to save money on electric. I had my gas supply cut off to save on one more bill and find this gas stove a God send. You can have the 15kg butane gas cylinders delivered to your door, the initial cost of the metal cylinder plus gas is approximately £56 for a full 15kg. The cost is less after you have paid for the initial cylinder which you then have refilled. They collect the empty and leave you a full one.Light and easily portable. I use mine on top of my old oven and use the rest of the disconnected oven for storage.

Due to the cost of living crisis, I was looking for a way to boil hot water, without the need to use an electric kettle!.As gas is around a fifth of the price of electricity, I started looking for a suitable burner!.After a bit of research, I decided on the NJ NGB-S1 burner.I have also hooked it up to a 15kg Calor butane cylinder.First impressions of this burner out of the box, is that it is a serious bit of kit.It is functional, but also elegant, and puts out a serious amount of heat.I use a large Xloo (Maxcook) 5 litre stainless steel kettle on it (also from Amazon).This burner can bring a kettle with 4 litres of water in it, to the boil in 7.5 minutes, bearing in mind, myelectric kettle only holds 1.8 litres.This gas burner is capable of meeting all my hot water needs, without the need of putting on my hot water boiler.I am an adult, who lives alone, I wouldn’t want to use it in an environment were there was kids, as it would presenta serious danger!.If you need a stand alone solution for heating large amounts of hot water, then you won’t be disappointed with the NJ NGB-S1 burner.

This is an amazing gas hob which is very stylish and will fit into any kitchen or camping scenario. Highly recommend this! There may be a slight smell on the first few uses of this brilliant item but will eventually disappear. As with all gas cooking, always make sure you have a functioning carbon dioxide sensor nearby and do make sure that you connect the fittings to your gas bottle correctly and safely. Enjoy your cooking with this very impressive camping/ cooking masterpiece.

Good quality, works well

Unfortunately I have missed the window to return this product, by a day. We were one of the unfortunate families that were without electricity for 2 weeks due to the recent storm. During that time I tried using the portable gas stove, without success. I assembled it per the instructions and proceeded to boil a kettle on the stove. After it reached the boil I turned the gas down to let it simmer. A short time later I smelled gas and went over to the stove and suddenly a flame eminated from under the stove. This caused me great concern so I immediately turned the gas off at the tank. I have no confidence in the safety of this product and I am so sorry that I was unable to return it during the cooling off period. I am a very disappointed customer.

Great cooker i bought another

Using this as my main cooker for a while. Really impressed such a range of cooking temperatures. Really impressed with the quality . Quick wipe cleans after use, though the inside, by the flames is not so accessible to clean, tiny point. Until you have cooked on this you cannot appreciate the Cooking power it gives you.
