Very well made, sturdy. It’s a game changer when pulling up a heavy load. Very simple and easy operation. Love the built in swivel.

Less resistant to sand than older model.
Great for arena rigging. Not as good for hauling on sandstone routes. The secondary safety jams really easily in sandy environments. I love that nobody is going to hassle you about needing to clip the becket and of course the integrated round swivel is awesome.

Like this better than the old design
Don’t have to put extra carabiner in to stop gate from opening. Swivel built in. Easier to feed route into, I’m sold
