Looks great when off, good when on
I bought this as part of my unusual light-bulb collection, replacing a similar incandescent bulb which burned out long ago. I love the unusual shape, and the stained-glass look, and because it's lED I'm not just saving energy, but I'm also hopeful that it will have a long, happy life.When powered up, I found it to be overly bright to suit my needs. The bright light seems to wash out the nice colors. I purchased a light-socket dimmer, and have this bulb now dimmed down to maybe 1/3 power, and it looks much better to me. It does dim down very nicely.

Pretty colors
I bought these to put in my coach lights on my house as a Christmas decoration. But since the colors are muted due to my light cover, i have left them in year around.

Subtle but beautiful
It's a beautiful bulb. Not too bright so it's better to use it as a little night light. I love the way it looks in my flower lamp 😊
