Gorgeous globe. I was gobsmacked when I opened the box. I didn't expect it to be so beautiful.

Much smaller than it looks online. Sure, they tell you the dimensions but that is hard to visualize. Go with the bigger size. It is nice though.

It's a nice display globe and I agree that it's more attractive compare to the blue or black ones - of course, that's only personal preference as I think the Amberlite Pearl background gives the oceans more of a realistic appearance compared to just a plain colour background. It is a bit smaller than I expected, but attractive to look at nonetheless. The only thing I would complain about would be the detail work on it as there are pieces of stone that are not flushed when put on the globe so you can see slight gaps in between. Also the Amberlite Pearl is not of the same quality so it can have a very nice appearance in some parts and a bit dull on the others, but it does give it some character. This would be a great gift for anyone wanting a display globe at a reasonable price. For educational purposes, it might lack the finer details required. It comes super well packed so there is little chance anything could damage it in transit.

I collect these, what can I say. I seriously have an addiction and love these. I have 3 so far in total and counting. I want different colour sea in each one.
