In early 2024, I acquired ten different can openers and compared them to each other. We based the comparisons on Durability, Edges, Ergonomics, Finish, Slippage, Turns, and Overall Favorites. This one was the winner in almost every category. I now consider this can opener a great gift as well.

Only lasted a couple months, which is ridiculous considering it's entirely metal. It was fine at first, then it got harder to puncture cans to begin opening. The "grip" it had on the can edge loosened so it would only cut through partially, so I'd have to go over some parts again and again. Eventually, I was trying to open a can and had gotten only about 1/4 of the way around when it exploded and pieces flew off. I guess the crappy weld broke?? Idk if I even found all the pieces. Left me with a partially opened can I had no way to open. This is trash. Deserves a refund in my opinion.
