Perfect replacement and works amazing

Exact replacement for my spa. Easy install and shipping was very fast. Arrived day earlier then expected. Working great so far!

I purchased this heater for my hot tub because the one I had was no good this was an easy install fit perfectly. I think it has very good quality great for the price and the performance I haven't had any issues and I've had this for several months heats up my hot tub just like the factory one.

The process was pretty simple. Anyone who is handy should have no problem replacing heater. Find putting the sides back on the hot tub harder to do.

This unit isn't identical to the failed unit in our hot tub but close enough. You do need the right tools and a bit of sensitivity with finessing the connections but otherwise an easy repair. Doing it yourself probably saves a few hundred dollars to the hot tub guy. Just be careful with the wiring.

My spa ceased heating the water, so I assumed that the heater had failed and ordered new one. Wrong assumption, the failure was in a failed circuit board. This Balboa heater has sturdy heating tubes inside and two heat sensors extending down into the tube. Not much to fail in this heater,
