Refreshing, Healthy, and Guilt-Free
I recently tried the WAJU Natural Strawberry Sparkling Water, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite beverages. This drink is a fantastic combination of refreshment and health, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to stay hydrated without compromising on flavor.Pros:• Real Fruit Flavor: The strawberry taste is light, natural, and not overly sweet. You can tell it’s made from real fruit!• No Added Sugar: As someone trying to cut back on sugar, I love that this drink is naturally sweet without artificial sweeteners.• Low Calorie: Perfect for those watching their calorie intake—each can is guilt-free!• Antioxidant & Vitamin C Boost: It’s great knowing I’m getting a dose of health benefits with every sip.• Eco-Friendly: I appreciate that WAJU is focused on sustainability, offering an eco-conscious alternative to traditional flavored waters.• Bubbly Goodness: The carbonation is just right—not too fizzy but still gives that satisfying bubbly feel.Cons:• Pricey: It’s a little more expensive than regular seltzer, but the quality and natural ingredients justify the price.• Mild Flavor: If you’re used to bold or sweetened drinks, the flavor might feel subtle.Overall, WAJU is a game-changer for anyone looking for a clean, healthy sparkling water option. It’s perfect for hydration during workouts, a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up, or even as a mixer. Highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t regret it!

More of a seltzer than a fruit drink
Unfortunately this is not what I’d hoped it’d be. It is a seltzer water, not a fruit juice drink. For those who like a mildly flavored bubbly water? This is for you. Very little sugar and very little taste.

Delicious But Dearly Priced
Disclosure: This was sent to me for free via the Vine program. I did not receive monetary compensation to write this review, just the product itself.I love trying new beverages. Every day there are thousands of beverages released onto the market and it makes me sad that I'll never be able to try all of them. So when interesting beverages show up on Vine, I'm quite keen on getting them. I recently came across this WAJU sparkling strawberry water and was intrigued (and a little off-put but more on that later). A sparkling water made out of...fruit water left over from making fruit concentrates? I like utility but that's some ingenious stuff. So, naturally, my engineering AND beverage curiosities were piqued and I put in for it. To say that I was excited would be an understatement.Item came in an outer box with the strawberry sparkling water tightly packed in an inner box shrouded by packing materials. No damage was noted to anything in the box. Reading the cans, it said that it was best cold so I put a few of them in the fridge to cool down. A few hours later, I popped one of the cans out, cracked it open, and took a massive sip. And...wow...this stuff is pretty darn good. The water itself is lightly strawberry flavored, due in part to the addition of strawberry juice, but what really rounded it out was the amla berry juice, otherwise known as Indian gooseberry. This provided a tart and slightly acidic balance to the sweetness of the strawberry water, coupled with the carbonation, to make it perfectly balanced as a drink. It's not too tart, it's not too sweet, it's just right. And it really tastes like you're drinking a fresh strawberry, which is pretty cool.Unfortunately, as with all innovative beverages, there are some uncool parts. To start, the price. This is pert near $3 a can, clocking in at $35 for 12 cans, which is a very expensive drink. Also is the marketing...which I mentioned earlier. They market this water as "upcycled" which, to be fair, is completely true. It is upcycled from a process that would normally get rid of the water. And, as an engineer, I think that's really cool. But as a consumer, an "upcycled" beverage smacks with a bad taste in my mouth, almost like I'm drinking something that someone else refused. I know, logically, that I'm drinking something that normally would be wasted but the marketing just doesn't sit right with me. If they said that it was "rescued" or "re-utilized" instead, it'd be less offensive to consumers, I think. Overall, I like the stuff but I can't justify paying the price that they want for it. If it was cheaper by about a dollar per can, I'd wholeheartedly entertain it but it ain't so this is a tentative recommend.
