Great saw !
I waited a year to write a review, I have used this saw constantly and have had no issues at all. All I had to do was tune it a bit and gained a lot of power. 28in bar it rips runs reliable. It’s worth every penny.

Will it run and cut
So far I'm very pleased, but still waiting for the bar and chain to arrive. Shipped the powerhead fast and packed great. Like everything i see so far. However this is Not a review just yet as the 28inch bar and chain have not arrived yet. But a question for those who might know the answers.I've had many chainsaws but never all these plastic orange rings that come with the saw what are they for? And what's up with this extra bolt? it's like a plug or something, but i can't find anything that needs plugging. If can please help. Also no instructions on how to put together, but a fantastic user manual. Since I've put saws together before it was all rather straight forward. Used manual and safety instructions are very good. I like that it is 50/1 fuel and oil mix. That's similar to some of my other equipment. So very convenient.Looks sturdy and easy to use/care for.10 hour break in period will take several months since i don't cut all the time.Hoping for many years of use.Follow up.Cold started within 6 pulls. I'm happy with that. After warmed up, started on first pull every time. Lowering the idle to prevent chain spin at idle. All was put together fast and easy even without instructions. I found out what all the extra parts were for. Very happy so far. Cut through 22 inches red oak like butter. Not disappointed with saw at all it's a beast. Now to go find some more oak.

Do not waste your time, or your shoulder!
I bought this saw on June 4th. I assembled it a week later after receiving it.ran fine immediately after assembling it. ran for about 10 minutes or so, put it away in the shed and it sat there for 2 weeks. had a bunch of wood to cut up then took the saw out of the shed oiled it refilled it with fuel and oil. through my arm out trying to start it. after some Diagnostics I found out I didn't have any Spark. thought that was odd so I put a spark tester in line with the ignition wire and the spark plug. Nothing!then I grounded it directly to the block. still nothing. borrowed a coil out of my buddies Husqvarna i put it in my saw a we were good. I contacted neotech via Amazon and told them what was going on and they sent me a new coil.I installed the new coil and ran the saw off and on through the summer and fall.probably have about 6 hours on the saw total.now here we are in winter and I cannot get this thing to stay running.I have increased the fuel a little bit to allow for the cooler weather.this song is not a reliable to have on standby.when you can get it running and it stays running it's a great saw it has a lot of power.if you do buy one of these songs do not store with oil or gas in it.it takes less than a week for a full oil reservoir to leak out.and if you take it from the cold into the warm the engine will hydrolock with gasoline.so many little problems with this saw.

Check torque on bolts and look in to a better carb if going to be used heavy
For a clone saw it's actually really good the biggest problem is the people who put them together. Nothing is torqued down right. The only real complaint and problem is the carburetor because it's not the same as husky when you see the inside. But after I put a good carb on and made sure bolts were torqued right it ran amazing and even beat my buddies 572XP

Great saw, just needs a little attention
This is a great saw. It ran good out of the box. The only thing I had to change was the oil hole on the bar. It was to small and kept getting clogged with wood chips. I drilled out the hole to 1/4” and haven’t had anymore issues.

Just WOW! So far, NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!
I purchased the Neotec NH872 in late August 2024. When it arrived, I put it together, added fuel mix and bar oil, and the saw ran for a minute and would not start after that. (FYI, I have Husq and Echo chainsaws that I've run regularly for decades processing six cords of wood each year). I took the NH872 to my local small engine guy to get his input and we put a new Husq 372XP carb on it. It would start, but still did not run well. The saw was also leaking bar oil all over the ground. I then went back and forth with Neotec trying to get a new powerhead. They kept telling me that I wasn't running the saw correctly. Finally, on September 23rd, Neotech agreed to replace the powerhead. As of October 8th, I still don't have a replacement. I can't recommend Neotec. Don't waste your money! Also, there is a NO RETURN POLICY through Amazon.UPDATE: I just changed my rating from a 1 to a 3. I finally received a new powerhead. It runs! The tank vent was bad. Had to replace it and the saw works great. Very powerful! Hopefully, it will work for a long time to come.

I feel fortunate, mine works very well
I read a lot of the reviews of this saw before I pulled the trigger, and I was pretty concerned reading about some of the 'lemons' some folks got. When I first got it, I cranked it up and it started right up in a few pulls. Its my 4th chainsaw, so its pretty intuitive to crank. Like one review, it sat in the shed for several weeks and I had some trouble getting to start when I needed it...and that was 100% my fault, I had the switch only half way to 'on', hadn't clicked it all the way over.I bought it as a bargain saw to run my Alaskan chain saw mill (recommend minimum 70cc saw), and I have not put the ripping chain on it to try out that aspect of it. I have however plowed it thru green oak logs 14-16" in diameter and it handled them easily with the stock chain that came with it. I'm used to semi or full chisel chains, so I expect when I go to one of those it will be faster cutting thru, but it has performed admirably and reliably the 4-5 times I have used it to date.
