Product works perfectly, was easy to install after watching a YouTube tutorial, and is better than the original screen that came with the vehicle. The price point is great considering what I would have spent to have a dealer fix the issue.

Uconnect wanted me to take my 2018 Jeep Renegade to the dealer to diagnose the screen, this on a known delaminating issue. The dealer wanted $180 to diagnose the visible bubble. With the $20 off coupon this replacement screen was $149. I watched several YouTube videos which really helped. Be ready to deal with a lot of dripped glue on the bottom of the screen when you take out the old one. Take your time go slow and it will go fine, 45 minutes for me. The new screen works great, it's brighter and sharper than the old one. All the controls work great like new, the navigation works etc. If you are tired of dealing with ghosting problem this is a good solution, I can't vouch for how long it will last but for the price it is worth it.

We bought this in July 2024, to replace the one in our 2500 Ram truck. Ours original screen had started leaking so we thought we had better replace it. We made sure it was the correct model with Ram before we ordered. We installed it and everything worked great except the navigation. Tha navigation on our original screen still worked but this one showed us driving in a completely different state. We took to our local ram dealer and they called the support system but was not able to get it working and this was a 175.00 fee. We then took it to another place that after talking to 3 different dealers plus the support team at uconnect found out that the navigation had been locked out and couldn’t be programmed. This was another 270.00. So I don not recommend this product.

Like everyone else here, I ran into the infamous delamination of the screen in my 2018 Ram 1500. I put off doing anything about it for a year or two, but it just kept getting worse. There are many tricks out there on YouTube, but ultimately, I wanted it done right, so I did a lot of research and found this screen. The installation was pretty simple, but make sure you find some YouTube videos on how to do it. That was really helpful. I had someone help me with the install and I would recommend doing so because the extra set of hands is key. We were able to complete the install in less than an hour. I honestly think this screen is better than the factory one. It is bright, clear and repsonsive to touch. I love having it right. I've had this installed for about a month now, but I will update this review if I ever run into any issues, but as of now, I'd highly recommend.

Update: Seller responded immediately to address the problem! Original Review: Easy install, worked great, then screen stopped working after three months. Screen was black, came back on a couple of hours later, then a few days later while it was on, the screen got a bunch of horizontal lines, then went black.

The problem was the touch screen was delaminating on my 2018 Grand Cherokee summit which only has 34,000 mi on it. I heard Jeep was covering this repair even for out of warranty units and went through the process for about 75 days only to be denied in the end. Part of the process was getting a confirmation of the problem and quote from the local Jeep dealer. their solution was to replace the entire radio assembly at a smooth 2200.00 bucks. I'm pretty handy so I decided to try it myself. I would say the most stressful part of the repair was getting the escutcheon off so I could get access to the screen. I was very careful so it took me quite a while because I didn't want to ruin it. I was able to do it with no damage and after that replacing the screen was pretty straightforward. There's plenty of videos on YouTube showing you what to do. Being able to repair it for $120 was very rewarding.

The screen on our 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 was doing what it seems many are doing- peeling inside and then every now and then just randomly changing stations, climate settings, throwing on the backup camera, etc. In the beginning it was just an aesthetic issue but once it started cycling through everything that could possibly be touched on the screen it needed to get changed out. The dealer wanted over $900 to replace the screen. We got this one on Amazon and it is absolutely of fantastic quality. We bought the truck used so I can't say what the original screen looked like but this one is super crisp and clear. My husband swapped it out following a YouTube video. The process was not quite exactly the same on our truck, but it was close enough. Now the issues are resolved and we have a fabulous screen for a much more reasonable price and about an hour's worth of work.

Installed the screen less than 3 weeks ago, everything worked fine until this morning. I woke up to take my daughter to school, turned on my car and noticed pixel lines shooting across my screen (which made it look grayish). I tried using the troubleshoot options that are available here on Amazon but that seem to still not work. Now, my screen is currently pitch black! My phone is connected to the Bluetooth so it still can play music, but I cannot see a damn thing! If you guys can please contact me on getting a replacement soon as possible I’ll more than greatly appreciate it!!!
