I bought to compare with a smaller solar 'cat' I'd ordered at similar price. - as I couldn't find a white/red one of an in-between size. I knew this one was battery charged, which wouldn't have been a problem, but it physically was far too big for where I wanted to put it (looking out a front facing bedroom window). Smaller one much better and discrete. I also thought this big one didn't have much character and (daft I know) thought it looked sad! I kept the smaller, solar one for myself and 3 others as gifts. After a rough 2023 I only hope it will help bring good health, happiness and luck to us all.

Nice cat , good size, decent quality for price, seems to be bare white plastic rather than gloss coated like the gold cats ,works fine if all you want is a Chinese waving cat, haven’t won the lottery yet, but will update if I do .

Cheap and cheerful. The instructions are on the box but not very good. They state that the cat will be stationary for a few minutes after inserting the battery. I got bored of waiting after an hour, so I tapped the hand and it's been going strong since. There's no on/off switch so the very tight fitting AA battery needs removing to turn it off. Not a brilliant trinket, but good enough.

there was no on and off switch. Could be used by taking the battery in and out. Very poor quality not what I expect from Amazon. Bought two as gifts Valentine’s Day Not what I expected.
