These are excellent quality for the price! I was very pleased getting this bundle of MDF for laser cutting. I will definitely be purchasing them again.

I should have looked closer
I should have looked closer... these are not 12 inches like shown in the photo... however, they are 30 cm like shown in the same photo... 30cm does not equal 12 inches. Still a good product and would buy again. Hopefully they will correct their measurements on Amazon

Consistent but Messy
Consistent Size and Thickness: The boards are typically well-manufactured with consistent dimensions, making it easier to plan and execute projects. However MDF tends to produce a significant amount of dust and char during laser cutting. This quickly clogged my machine's air filters and created a messy workspace. It is also prone to chipping and tearing, particularly with intricate cuts or delicate designs.MDF is a functional material for laser engraving and cutting, but its messiness can be a significant drawback. While it offers consistency in size and thickness, it may not be the ideal choice for projects requiring a clean finish or intricate details.

Cheap as dirt, good for painting
You gotta prime it and all, but for a dollar a panel I got 22 of 24 unwarped and they held up to normal painting rigors pretty well. If you drop them, they do pretty much instantly start splitting but that's kind of just expected. Cheapest material by far.

Not good for lasers
I should have listened to some of the other reviews. This material is horrible for laser cutting. It just chars. I can manage to cut all the way through but at 100% power and about 4 passes, and a charred mess.I purchased this because I needed a 1/8" sheet of MDF for laser cutting projects, and my local big box store only had 1/4". I did purchase the 1/4" and I can get a clean cut with the same settings with only 2 passes.I don't know what this MDF is made from, but it is not good for lasers.I gave this item a 1 star simply because it was no good for my uses, yet the seller says it is good to use for lasers. I'm sure if you were just going to cut it with a jig saw or router it would probably be fine.
