I have a system similar to this that I use in our family room, they can’t compare to Sennheiser. Much more comfortable ear pads superior sound that can be fine tuned and amazing range. I can literally walk through the house and hear the TV with no interference. Sennheiser touts a 300’ range, and the ability to receive audio through interior walls. My other system won’t work through a wall and has a range of fifteen feet at best. Buy these, we’ll worth an extra twenty dollar bill.

WIFI is much better but needs battery changes. Blue tooth sits on charger and doesn't need batteries. Sound is OK if you're not near a microwave or more than 15 feet from source. Blue tooth sucks.

After using my Sennheiser RS 120 TV headphones for many years, the charging station finally gave out and it was time for me to find a comparable replacement. I was very happy with the Sennheiser brand after all these years and decided to stay with the same brand. The RS 120-W headphones that were listed, were the ones I decided to go with….but not new! Amazon also had their “renewed” headphones for $20 less than retail with the same 2-year warranty, so I decided to go that route. I received my headphones in the original packaging, it took me about 5 minutes to install and I couldn’t believe the difference in sound quality with the new headphones compared to the previous ones. I’ve often bought products from Amazon in the “renewed” condition and never, never had a problem. If the product that I’m looking for is offered in the “renewed” condition and if I can save a considerable amount of money, I’ll be more than likely to go for it!

Everything went wrong after 1 week of use. The headphones would stop working make a noise and sometimes come on again. Headset does not sit properly on cradle so batteries would not recharge.This seems to be a common problem from other comments. Received return label from company and they do not pay for the return postage. Any company that has a common defect with their product and makes the consumer pay to have their product repaired is not worth dealing with.

Sound quality is beautiful!

The older version of this has a gray colored Transmitter base. It looks the same but has about twice the length for listening distance like outside or even in another room (that has obstacles which limit the range). I have trouble and loose connection when moving from my office room to the bedroom. This was not an issue with the older version. What I didn't know is that this new version, all black base, has a different technology (Bluetooth transmission = 180 feet) than the older RF (Radio Frequency) version (926-928 MHz transmission = 300+ feet range). Just be informed of the differences/limits, which may not be an issue for you.
